Since the recent attacks that crunchyroll had, my iPad app for crunchyroll has not work properly. Every time i try to open the app i keep getting the error as follows: "A connection failure occurred: SSL problem" I've tried deleting then installing again and downloading an older version of the app but nothing works.

Device Type: Ipad (1st generation)
Streaming Via: WiFi
OS Version: 5.0.1 (9A405)
App Version: Latest (possible for the 1st gen. iPad)

I am conscious that my Ipad is a bit mature but the app had been working fine all this time until the site went down. Any help would be appreciated regarding the issue. Thanks for Reading.

I'm having problems also with app on iPad.
Any newer available videos such as latest Cross Ange, uncensored Terrorformers, Magic Kaito, will not load. Older vids will.

Deleted CR app and reinstalled it. Still doesn't work.

IOS app not working for any any of the more recent releases, this includes iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV. They don't play on my Roku either. I can access them on a Windows PC.

Would nice if Crunchyroll would at least acknowledge they have a problem and are working on it.

IOS devices are working now.

Sorry about that, it's all still related to the DDoS attack we suffered earlier this week. More of our tech and dev staff will be able to look at it on Monday.

I've reached out to support for the second time today.
I am having problems watching Liar Game, IRYU - Team Medical Dragon, Future Diary: Another World, and Mischievous Kiss 2.
The videos will take a while to load, start playing, but stop and either resume or not load at all.
I haven't tried to watch any anime since the outage, but I'm afraid I'll run into the same issues.

I hope all of these issues are resolved quickly!

As of Tuesday morning; My iPad is working normally now and all videos playing as they should.

its been almost a month since i posted on here and though it was reassuring that it wasn't just happening to me as the reply's to the post, the app still doesn't work for me still keep getting the same error its unfortunate that i might cancel my membership if this does not eventually get fix. I've been a member for significant time with the app always working but its really inconvenient if it does not work and not worth it at least for me.
