For a week my ps3 and ps4 CR apps have been utter trash. Video will play for about 2 minutes before it freezes.

Updates please? What is going on? Are you working on it? Did you guys give up or something? If so give me back the 100 dollars I paid for the premium membership last month.

UPDATE, TALK TO US.

Your silence on the issue does NOTHING but piss people off. The winter season is getting ready to start, and you're probably gonna lose a lot of subscribers to Funimation as it is. Do you want to lose more? FIX YOUR SERVICE.

Maybe re download the apps that might fix the problems.

Same on Vita/PS TV. Brother and I trying it on both Vita devices on different networks. The problem is consistent. I'm going to try the PS3 app again to see if that works.

there are about at least 100 users having this problem, from all over the world and many different ISPs. I'm pretty sure its not our consoles or ISP at fault here.

The problems are from the DDoS attack that happened last week. Even though CR managed to bring the site and stuff back online, the apps have some lingering problems that might take a while to fix.

Yes.
I was also having this problem on the PS4 app as well as Xbox One app post-DDoS attack.
I doubt re-downloading it will work.

As has been pointed out, the issues are caused by the DDoS attack we suffered last week. Once people are coming into the office on Monday morning, the first thing they will do is tackling those problems.

So if the pc streams work, why don't you use the same upload service for the apps? I does not make sense to me that they keep using a service that is costing them customers. But I do appreciate the update finally.

Ps3, Wii u, and two android devices cannot play the new videos. I would also like to know what is being done, or if the site is planning to be PC only

Using two different CDNs allows for a degree of redundancy. In the past, some people have had problem with PC streaming while their devices had no problem.

Personally, I have both a PC and Roku attached to my TV, and use whichever best fits my needs at the time or for a specific service.

I'm having trouble getting anything new to play on the AppleTV app, and now it's affecting the Ios app too, and chromecast streaming. I've also been getting hanging on older videos ie Toradora Sub. Very irritated as this has been going on for a while now!

Amen brother. The lack of communication is infuriating. At least acknowledge the problem and let us know you're looking into it.

You sound as if you're overreacting.
I doubt many people have been sharing this same problem otherwise the Crunchyroll staff would have made a large notification here in the forums. It's most likely your internet connection to the apps. Try other alternatives. If the same issue occurs then notify a member of staff.

In all fairness this may also be a side effect of the recent online attacks. That I can't guarentee.
