Once again I'm mulling cancelling my subscription. I cannot afford to subscribe to CR and Funimation at the same time.
I am VERY disappointed that some of the shows I have been anticipating are not available here in the US.

Bottom line is, CR has to get it together or they are loosing a 6+ year premium subscriber.

If you're a 6+ year subscriber, then you should have noticed the pattern for announcements by now. It is like this every single season, and people complain at the beginning of every single season until their anticipated shows appear. A little patience is needed with the announcements. Once they have finished announcements, and at this point they have likely only just begun, then is the best time to complain or decide to cancel.

This is the first title announced here that I wanted to watch and is not a second season. Nice to see that TV Tokyo is continuing to abandon its premium member exclusivity in most of the world this season.

This title is actually available to our members worldwide ex Asia...

I could care LESS about this show.

Whats angering ME is that at least 3 shows I have been anticipating to watch are NOT available here in the U.S., but you somehow managed to get this one??

I'm sorry that I am making this fuss, but right now I am VERY disappointed and angry with you licensing so far this season. This is NOT why I pay a membership for with what limited funds at my disposal.

Ty for scoring this one Crunchyroll. Happy to see I can avoid trekking to Funimation on this one since I don't typically watch enough there to justify a subscription for better quality vids, ect. I have also been having a blast with Magic Kaito, although the staggered release of the episodes from last season feel torturous. I really want to binge watch them all now until all caught up with the new season. Patience is hard. ;o;

Did you miss my previous reply. This is a TV Tokyo show. Since you've been here 6+ years, you should know what the significance of that is. That alone should explain the "somehow".

I also can't believe that in 6+ years there haven't been other times where Funimation had shows you wanted to watch instead of CR.

Angry? Why the heck are you angry with CR? It's not CR's fault that Funi nabbed so many shows. Given that Funi will take every opportunity to prevent CR from getting hold of stuff that they license surely if you want to be angry with anyone then you should be angry at funimation.

And it's not as though you're even in one of the parts of the world where "not available on CR" is synonymous with "not avaiilable at all".

What's more, you're launching your tirade on a thread where CR announces that they HAVE got hold of one of these series, just because it happens to be something you don't personally want to watch? That's actually kind of funny.

This... Maybe it's another Inou Battle. (Which I originally expected to drop an episode or two in, or to be a conventional harem show at best - instead of the unexpected delight it turned out to be.)

Hmm, I think you may have misinterpreted what I wrote. I was talking about how in the past, TV Tokyo would license their series worldwide outside Asia, but would limit free viewing to the "USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden." Now they seem to have stopped doing it, and are allowing everyone, free or premium, to watch their shows.

Ooh, ooh, sorry! I completely mistook your comment; yes, I'm glad this is happening too!

I see we have one more announcement today.

Shinmai Maou no Testament (The Testament of Sister New Devil) premieres tomorrow, and no one has claimed it yet for a US simulcast (Madman has it for Australia and New Zealand), so I'll place my bet on it.

I haven't interest in this show either but I don't get angry because CR got it. What's the point?

BTW, you can watch these 3 shows on Funimation and CR haven't finished with its annoucemnts yet...

Hmm...you had me at pink wombat. I will be watching for the lolz, because I think this may be the first 'magical boys' show that actually flat-out says they ARE magical boys. I know we had titles like Bakumatsu Rock and Kagami no Asobi, but those were more like magic-boy elements wrapped around fantasy/other guises.

Here, we actually get the 'well it's just gonna be like Sailor Moon or Cardcaptors but with boys instead'.
