Just wanna know you opinions on Funimation.
Mine is very low since they don't allow many great paying sites to get certain anime in my location.

I don't hate them, but I do dislike their general format and layout in comparison to Crunchyroll's. Their site(s) are extremely difficult to navigate and are not user-friendly at all.

I watch the anime that CR doesnt have there, but Funimation's library is much much smaller and there site is terrible and way less active than CR. I feel like CR is an actual anime community as opposed to Funimation that seems to be just for watching.

Their Roku and PS3 apps have no queue. That annoys me a lot. Other than that tho, I like them fine. Great video quality, less censorship. Dubs on many titles are a nice option to have, especially when it's late at night and I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open. (Although I sometimes feel the voices aren't properly EQ'd)
Crunchyroll is still the best, especially since they have manga. But the two services complement each other nicely. And the competition is good for the consumer.

i personally cannot compare to two since nearly anything Funimation gets also gets released on dvd and or blu-ray while Crunchyroll titles don't guarantee that...so while in the streaming period Crunchyroll may be better but in the long run i have to give it to Funimation since i like owning series.

I'm torn. I'm happy to get the anime, and they were in every right to swallow up all the other companies out there as the market for anime in the US collapsed.

However, I'm NOT a huge fan of the monopolistic nature of the company, and would rather see it broken up as the market finds its way.

I'm okay with them, but I wish their animes were more accessible! They often only offer one or two seasons when their stuff is on Netflix. Since I already pay for both Netflix and Crunchyroll, I don't feel like registering to a third streaming network as well. Luckily, I have some friends who let me use their account, but if it weren't for that, I would probably get very few chances to watch any of their series. >.<

Me and Funimation are pretty chill, Dawg. Still waters run deep.

Nahhhh, for real...I don't mind Funi. I mean, I watch many of their Shows, so I can't complain. But if it was to concern ever a JOINING together of the two, either Crunchyroll as WELL as Funimation...I'd be opposed to it. I just like Crunchy as It's Own little independent "sovereign"...muahaha. It would DEFINITELY get more exposure, of course but is ALL exposure necessarily GOOD exposure? Viewers will make Their Own minds up on that issue.

But Yeah...I like Funi...AS THEY ARE. Just don't go trying to get all monopolistic on Us, Funi! We's cool! We's Bro's!

I like them, although I'm not subscribing to them, at this time. I see them like I see another brand or flavor of soda, not my favorite and they could be better but I don't necessarily at this time wish that they did not exist.

Personally, I do not mind Funimation nor do I have any issue with them in general. They provide a good service, which I desire by giving me access to the anime I love. Just like Crunchyroll also does for me. Both services give me access to anime streaming, community interaction, and anime themes stores to make any desired purchases. Which without these services I would be limited to costly anime per volume buying from stores with next to nil offerings or having to consider using less then legal means. Also, I'm proud that my money supports the anime industry in the smallest way and I do not mind paying the mere $16-ish a month for both services. Which equates to me to be about the same price as a fast-food run, launch out, or half the price of a trip to the theaters.

In many ways the two work well together as they seem to get different shows for the most part. Whether it is due to competitive licencing issues or whatever. I feel I actually get an over-all better selection then I would have if only Funimation or Crunchyroll existed. Funimation tends to go for the safe bets and gets series that are more likely to draw a larger international audience like: Full-Metal Alchemist and the various Dragon Ball(s) were, etc... As well having the offerings from the bigger well-known anime studios such as Clamp. While Crunchyroll does have a few anime from the bigger studios and Japanese channels. They seem to primarily carry a lot of shows from the smaller studios that would otherwise probably never be seen outside of Japan and South Korea or received a wide-scale international attention.

Also, at times I rather or prefer to watch dubbed anime. When I do not feel like reading or am multitasking a video game at the same time, etc... This is the area Funimation really shines for me. I enjoy many of Fun's dubs and I'm also am a fan of some of their regularly hired voice actors. Plus, while their releases do seem to be very costly compared to importing a sub only copy. I have found I normally get a whole lot better quality subbing from their releases. (I've sadly spent a bit of money on crap imported subs, that may as well been translated into pig-Latin as much as I could understood them.) Funimation's releases also normally include a dubbed option; if I wish. Then again my complaints about the cost is probably based on the fact that I almost always buy collections only. Preferring not to be be nickle and dimed through the buying of anime per volume. Then again Funimation does seem to realize they're the only real game left in the US market and may be price gouging a little.

Overall, I do prefer Crunchyrolls streaming service and the shows it carries. As its very user-friendly and its community is far more active. Still Funimation's site is decent enough to be usable and does what I overall desire. Which is let me watch anime I not seen before. Although, Fun's site has a lot of room to improve and its community is limited in my view. On site note: Funimation's apps are total crap and there contracted developer needs to be fire.

I can't watch their anime since I don't freaking live in America... but competition is what makes a healthy industry, so live and let live, I say.
