I pay for Crunchyroll and Netflix. If I can't get it on either of those I'll usually just download a fansub.

I pay for CR and Funimation. I am also trying out the free trial for Netflix.

Some Info/Advice for Funimation site

For the Funimation site, you do not need to pay for membership to watch the videos but the anime choices are limited, you get only standard def. and ads.

Here's the page that details each plan.

http://www.funimation.com/p/subscribe

Based on my own experiences with Funimation site, the site can be a bit of a pain to navigate for some stuff. Whenever I stream a video on my PC, especially in HD, the video chops a bit and it lags even when I set it to standard def. But when I stream a video on my Mac or Chromebook, it runs smoothly with no problems at all. So if you have or mainly use a PC, be aware of that. But if you have a Mac or Cromebook, then there should be no problem at all.

I recently signed up for a FUNi trial. I was surprised to see their video player works well and is in HTML5, but don't pay for the iOS app because it doesn't contain the queue or every video that's available, and the web player works on iOS devices.

FUNi has some simulcasts not on CR like Assassination Classroom and Death Parade and a pretty good catalog. Most of their catalog is on Hulu but not in HD and with ads. I discovered that the first 130 episodes of Case Closed (Detective Conan) are on FUNi but only 13 or so on Hulu, plus all of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood which recently expired on Netflix.

I also use Netflix and Hulu.

Netflix uses the same file for subs and dubs (availability depends on the anime) so make sure to select captioning and audio settings if it comes up wrong.

My order when searching for anime:

Netflix (best device support, soft subtitles, great servers, no ads)
Crunchyroll (great device support, no ads)
FUNimation (have to AirPlay but no ads)
Hulu (great device support but has ads)
Blu-ray/DVD (Only if I really want to watch the show)

Netflix and Hulu Plus (which I highly recommend. Great selection) or fansubs
