Doesn't matter, we and the planet are going to die (although to be honest, only the planet dying is what concerns me. Humans should go extinct.) one way or another.

There is some evidence that humans are causing global warming, but not much of it. Most of it is being caused by the rising heat of the ascending sun which is being triggered by the black hole in the center of our galaxy. This is actually a good sign though since the ascending sun is evolving our entire planet to a higher level of existence. The entire solar system is being evolved by the sun.

Hmm...

Could you. Perhaps. Provide, source?

It will only die if it is allowed to be blown up, but that is not allowed. This planet has higher versions of it in the higher dimensions which goes on forever. There are also infinite versions of it in different universes which goes on forever. It any way you put it, Earth will always exist.

Why do you want humans to die? You are human, too you know? Do you want to die? That's a messed up mindset. All hate is self hate since everything is your reflection.

THIS earth that we're on right now will end. Regardless of whether we're allowed to destroy it or not, it'll happen anyway. Humans are a plague on this beautiful planet, just completely rotting it so yes, we should all be killed off. I may not like myself but I despise others FAR more.

Where I live winters have become gradually non-existent over the last 16 years or so (but especially in the last 6 years.). I am 100% a believer. The weather is definitely changing, and I hate it.

The fact that it's global warming and not cooling just proves that the world hates me. lol

It exists, it would be nice if we could be a little greener in order to help the environment out a little, but unfortunately I don't think that will stop global warming. Also, they need to do a better job of presenting evidence of global warming.

The worlds largest iceberg ever recorded is about to break off and yet people still deny global warming.

The most effective way to combat global warming is to decrease the amount of people living on the earth. People are bad for the earth, especially when there is a dense population of them. When there are a lot of people in an area, bad practices start forming. And the natural mechanisms of the earth can only compensate for so much polution.

Decrease the population of the earth by 90% to test this theory; perhaps this is the ultimate solution?

A plague will take care of that thanks to people refusing to get shots for preventable disease's it will happen sooner than later not to mention all the anti resistance new virus that are coming up where antibiotics don't work. In my home state a number of preventable diseases are making a come back because of people refusing to get shots

Does anyone know a data source that goes back before the "Little Ice Age" (before 1300)?

XKCD has this timeline:
https://xkcd.com/1732/

Buuuuut I could not find more info about his listed climate data sources, who funded the data collection, how they did it, etc:

Shawn et al (2012)
Marcott et al (2013)
Annan and Hargreaves (2013)
Hadcruth, IPCC

I am not sure but I believe the little ice age was caused by the sun in a decreased in solar activity combined with a super volcano eruption in the middle of the pacific so there where a number of contributing factors assuming I am remembering correctly

^ Yes, I think you're right.

The little ice age is making it difficult to get accurate data. The end of the little ice age (I think the 1850s) would coincide with warming temperatures anyway. So my question is: how much of the warming since the 1850s was caused by that naturally, and how much was caused by human activity?

It's wishful thinking, but if we could compare today with the Earth's average temperature over a much larger period of time (human history, or since the dinosaurs, etc), we could make a better conclusion about how "in trouble" we are.

I look forward to the ice caps melting, a new continent made available, and finally shedding the last vestiges of the Ice Age. If the anthropologists are correct, then we existed as we are, more or less, before the onset of the Ice Age. Lets get back to our roots.
