Now this is only from a North American viewpoint so don't lynch me but it really does seem that for the first time, Funimation has more simulcasts than Crunchyroll.

I know we got some good titles, Aldnoah.Zero & the sleeper hit of the season "Testament of Sister New Devil" & I can expect that we get Kuruko's Basketball & JoJo's but other than that, there is not much else that North America is getting.

I think we have Durarara as well but it's not in the Winter Simulcasts so idk whats going on with that but other than that, Crunchyroll just doesn't seem to have really any titles this Winter.

We won't get Tokyo Ghoul season 2, Assassination Classroom, Death Parade etc etc.

I am an exclusive CR Fanboy, I don't watch anime on any other site and if CR doesn't get it, I really don't watch it that's just how it is and there have been MANY titles I've missed.

I know we have a lot of Fall leftovers and I mean a lot and it may seem like I'm being ungrateful but the fact is that CR has spoiled me for the past 2 years and just seeing a lack of titles makes me a little sad.

As a CR fanboy, you should then be well aware that chances are that they've not even close to being done with announcing simulcasts.

And they have simulcasting Durarara, but like Kancolle, they haven't announced any territories for it yet.

It seems as if the Crunchyroll team are sadists and like to be tease and torture their fans by being painfully slow with announcing what they may or may not have. Admitting you're sad only gives them the satisfaction!

that's because CR likes to tease and not give any concrete information until the day before.. sometimes even the day OF simulcast start.

There's still plenty of announcements to come. Things are hardly over i wager. Also we've also gotten a few simulcasts that Funimation also have. So it's not like just because Funimation has it that it is completely off limits either.

So i'd suggest waiting a bit longer before concluding it's game over.

One thing to remember is that it does take some time to negotiate these things and it can take time before the final parts fall into place.

Consider Kancolle for which we're still waiting for territories to be announced for example.

To be honest, I'd be satisfied even if CR only picks up Jojo and Durarara. And of course, we still have the leftovers from Fall

If you've noticed the trend over the past couple of years, Funimation has been ramping up there Simulcasts over the past 3-4 of years, going from 4 to 6 to 10 simulcasts per quarter. This quarter is a bit of an exception since they have 2 extra carry overs from last quarter that aren't Fairy Tale and One Piece. (Garo and Yona)

They also go after the more popular stuff as well. Attack on Titan, One Piece, Fairy Tale, Assassination Classroom, Haganai etc.
