Painful for my wallet.
Painful when I find out there is no season 2.
Pain of seeing the best characters die.
Pain of realizing that even if you were in the anime world, you're unimportant side character.

I can relate to this last one so much... lol...

YES. Especially when you know that there won't be another season </3 Hate getting overly attached to an anime series and then that shit's pulled. T-T

Yes, it's quite a painful. That is the reason why I stopped watching anime. Only manga for me now.

Heart break is part of anime which is why we enjoy it so much, I love being invested in a story.

Why love of anime/manga is never painful, it's wonderful!

Except when they kill off my favorite characters and I proceed to walk around for a few days after learning of said tragedy with a look of sorrow and despair that not even cake can repair.

Besides that it's all happiness and sunshine.

To me the most painful expirience is when you really like a series, and you are inlove with the characters, and then it ends, you can't see anything more ... like if you had parted ways with a friend, or he was dead something like that, only memories remain,

The most painful were, sakura card captors, Nazo no kanojo X and HunterXHunter 2011, I was too used to watching them and all of the sudden they end, leaving me empty, it's too damn painful

With anime that NEVER END or take forever to like Naruto Bleack One Piece ect. they have massive amounts of useless filler and long back stories.

With ya in regards to those feels. I've just started playing VN's and it's even worse there. I have a feeling I'm going to be depressed once my current one is over. Simply because it's over. I get attached to Anime characters too easily. Hence why I'm pissed that SAO2 pretty much removed Sinon from the picture in the last half of the season.
