I wear glasses.

Of course, being a student at school, there are quite a few of my classmates (and people I don't know) that constantly want to try on my glasses because "they look cool" or "I want to see what it's like". Now, for me, the thought of letting someone else wear my glasses is the same as taking off my pants right there and lend them. In other words, I get a bit "territorial" when it comes to my glasses...I just feel that they're personal items rather than common tools like pencils.

...I'm not the only one like this, right? I-it's definitely not weird or anything, r-right?

I don't mind sharing my eyeglasses. (but if we're talking about the drinking glass, then I would NEVER share that).

now that I think about it, people in high school were so shameless... and immature. they'll do anything without asking. like one day, someone wedgie'd me... but luckily that day I was wearing underwear... (I usually go to school commando...) I wonder what would happen if I didn't wear anything...

Why? Wearing someone's glasses makes you nauseous, if they have a different prescription than yours. Which they usually do.

I don't mind letting someone wear them. They usually can't stand to wear them long anyway so it really makes no difference to me to humor them for a moment. If there was something I was trying to do that required them though I would ask them to hold on or something but that's about it.

Also not sure why you have that spoiler and stuff there about something completely unrelated. I'm guessing you are wanting to discuss that but since those threads aren't allowed you are including it in this one...or you are just being attention whoreish. Though I think that may be the case either way. Just my opinion.

I'm fine with sharing my glasses, but..

Its just when they look at me and say I look weird or different without glasses that annoys me -__-

They act as if I became a whole completely new person, kinda like superman..

That happens to me too! Does it annoy you or do you find it amusing?

No, I don't share glasses, unless someone I'm on really good terms with asks. I do, however, like to try my mother's glasses. I'm near-sighted, but she's far-sighted. Have you ever put on a far-sighted person's glasses? It's pretty cool. If the prescription is strong enough, the floor and other objects sort of come at you, so it's like moving through holograms. As a kid, it used to be one of my favorite games. No, I haven't gotten nauseous from it, but I'm also strongly resistant to motion sickness and whatnot.

I have never had anyone ask me if they could try on my glasses. If that happened I don't think I would like it. I remember one time I tried on my friend's glasses. I never thought about if she didn't like other people trying them on because my other friends were trying them on too.

I let a friend of mine try out my glasses. I am near-sighted, he was normal and to him it was kind of like going on a weird drug trip, at least that's how he described it. The ass bent them all to hell because he thought it'd be funny to shake his head really hard, they flew off and bounced across the floor.

These prescription lenses are a little on the spendy side so I discourage people from touching them.
