They're probably just waiting to finalize the regions. I would imagine that it would be the same ones as the first season, but you never know for certain.

If you mean on the lineup page, more boxes were added, so it currently has 4 empty boxes. Keep in mind that doesn't mean there are only 4 more series to announce, as CR could simply repeat the same process they have been (announce, add boxes).

They do that alot every season. Oh ancient one give me some of your wisdom! Predict how many boxes you think crunchy roll will have this season!

As far as I recall, they almost never have leftover boxes. Ever since they got burned with contracts they thought they were going to get signed that never got signed, they seem to wait until the contract is signed until they post the box. They are busy negotiating deals, signing contracts and getting approvals for their announcements right through the premier weeks of each season.

Now, [?] are not geo-filtered while the actual series boxes are (after all, the regions are sometimes not yet finalized, and in any event approval of the announcement includes approval of announcing the region), so sometimes a [?] box "disappears" when the series is not available in a region. Being in Beijing, I get to see that "vanishing box" effect most of the time, unless I were to hypothetically magically appear to the Internet to be located somewhere in Los Angeles.

Note that it would still be normal at this point in the announcement period for all of the current spaces to get filled and still have new boxes open up. And every since they started using multiple contracts to extend license regions, sometime in 2014, even an already signed license could still be in negotiations from some other rights owner for additional region rights.

OTOH, there are not as many premiers this winter as some previous winters, Funimation is approaching their previous peak in simulcasts, and some boxes might be dramas, so it could well get getting close to the last of the new anime boxes. Between expectations and previously announced series, DRRRx2, Kuroko3, Dog Days, and Koufoku Graffiti range from certain to highly likely, I guess TV Tokyo might have secured 1st week streaming rights for Crunchyroll for World Break, and Yoru Yatterman, Precure and Isuca are all still up in the air.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the current boxes get filled in (most of them to disappear from my regular view) and one or two more to show up.

We already have Durarara season 1 subbed. Unless they remove it for some reason (and why would they?) the dub is just an extra bonus for those who like dubs.

Early on, I predicted 22-23 new simulcast titles, but unless they stick in some live action titles (which I didn't disallow at the time), I'm not optimistic they will reach that.

From a US perspective, for anime only, at this point I'll say 17 minimum, 20 maximum. I should note I'm also allowing them until the end of the month to meet that number.

In checking some information last night before a reply, I spotted an interesting trend: Since winter of last year, Funimation has increased their number of new simulcasts by one each season:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-882927/not-many-simulcasts-for-winter?pg=1#48927307

The good news is that unless they want to break that trend, they've announced their final simulcast for the season (with Junketsu no Maria [Maria the Virgin Witch]). The bad news is that that same trend would mean they'll hit 13 for spring 2015. Thankfully, not all of those end up being exclusives.

So funimation is stepping up their game huh? Well no reason funimation and crunchyroll can't both have the same anime aired right? I mean doesn't funimation also have Durarara? (i just don't wish to end up paying for funimation and crunchyroll )
