I love it when assumptions from the "left" coast, come together and expose their hypocrisy. Everyone from the Deep South is a red-neck in their estimation. You can have your elitists ways and assume you can get something from nothing like "free healthcare" or a "free lunch". Everything has a cost, its basic economics or they only teach "social" part of economics on that side of the nation?

The "Free" they use, is just "hidden" cost paid for by each individual.

I'd want to see a large portion of military spending diverted to improving the educational system. Stockpiling makes sense to a point. We have long since passed that point.

Really? Florida has some of the highest ranked Universities.

University of Florida is ranked 48th(tie) nationally and 126th(3 way tie) world wide in 2014

University of Miami is ranked 48th(tie) nationally and 169th world wide in 2014

They do hold up pretty well.

While yes they don't measure up against schools like California Institute of Technology, and yes not every student is from Florida(I would say most are because of Out-of-State tuition). Florida does make the USA proud.

Change the name.

Because I'm tired of hearing cries of blind nationalism worshiping a dead Italian

Maybe I should just move to asia...

BUT REALLY I would make healthy food cheap and unhealthy food expensive. The opposite of what it is now.

Give us our God-damn exoskeletons and upgrade our train systems like they in Eurasia already have. Seriously; even the Russians have speeding-bullet trains.

If u could change something about the United States of America what would you want to be changed?
I for one would like free university. I hate how much money is going towards my university, there's lots of pressure to succeed in grades if not my Money will be wasted.

There is a lot that needs changing. The biggest thing that needs changing is that Americans need to realize we are not #1 anymore in everything. We need to start striving again to be our best.

But if I have to keep it simple I would like the following two:

Term limits for all Congressmen.
No lobbyists -- money is influencing policy too much in our government

I would make it to where we weren't so militarily aggressive. Update our nuclear armaments, which we are in desperate need of. Open the borders completely and end the quota system of immigration, which has its roots in racist policies. I'm not quite sure how to fix the medical system, but there should be some way to drive the costs down. I suppose letting people buy insurance across state lines is a good place to start. End the FCC, as it infringes upon freedom of speech. Completely reign in the NSA. Pardon Edward Snowden. Pass a balanced budget amendment which has an exception for times of declared war against a recognized state. Encourage the states to stop defunding higher education, as the federal government cannot possibly afford to pick up all their tabs. Give congressman and senators a term limit of two. And stop friendly relations with Saudi Arabia because they are the largest sponsor of terrorism on the globe.
