I've had the exact same problem for the past couple weeks and it's driving me insane. I barely even bother watching anything on Crunchyroll because I primarily use iOS.

I went back to the previous version of the app and it fixed the problem. This is how you do it if you have a device back up with the old version.

1 turn off auto updating of apps on your device
2 turn off auto updating of apps in iTunes.
3 delete the current app from your device
4a if you have the old version in iTunes set it to be installed and sync the device
or
4b if the version in your iTunes has been updated do a full device restore from the earlier back up.

Both methods worked for me for 2 different iPads

I'm stuck with the same problem and can't do full device restore for my phone. Old app is already gone from iTunes.

Folks, can you post a patch for the app to fix this?

This happens to me also I have watched sword art online episode12 about 5 or 6 times and it still won't update to episode 13 it's starting to annoy me.

Is anybody at CR looking into this? I am experiancing this too. If I watch episode 20 of a show it will update to 19 if say I had watch 15 most recently. Unfortunately I don't have the previous version saved. really annoying.

Another person with this problem. I also have basically stopped using my iPad to watch CR because the issue is beyond infuriating. Hey CR, my premium membership is up for renewal next month. It'd be great if you fixed this before that happens because as it stands, you are giving me a really good reason to go checkout Funimation's streaming offerings. I like your service and selection but the user experience for using the iOS app is abysmal. Even if the Funi app is a bit more clunky at least it doesn't make me rage.

FYI, not responding to this issue after weeks of it being reported is also pretty unacceptable (I've also submitted a support ticket which seems lost to the ether). Funimation has come a ways since they started streaming. You guys might want to put a little more effort into things before everyone passes you.

edit: Read back and see I actually replied I was having this issue a month ago. So i guess this post is really a "I am still having this issue" post.

This is probably the 4th thread where I've mentioned that this has been happening since I've been using CR, they will never fix it and we must move on with our lives.

Yeah I'm having this problem too. Using the app on my iPad and it won't update the videos that I've watched. Have to actually go to the webpage and access the videos there to make them appear they've been watched. REally need to fix this.

I disagree. It's a service we pay for. It's a reasonable expectation that it functions properly. In the short term I downgraded the version on my iPad and the queue functions again; so that's a temporary workaround. Long term, I'm just going to keep submitting support tickets on this issue until it gets resolved or acknowledged by CR. It's really the lack of any sort of acknowledgement that irks me.
