Did anyone see what funimation just put up in the new section?
they just added a Subtitle only membership for 4.95 a month?!?
is it just me, or are they trying to take away membership from crunchyroll...
I might do that in addition to my crunchyroll anime membership. at least for this season, with both of the big new shows (in my book) being on Funi, Maria the Virgin Witch and Assassination classroom. I'll wait till crunchyroll announces everything... or maybe I'll just wait till the the winter season ends and just use a funimation free trial to marathon through the two shows I mentioned...

(edited your quote for spelling see parenthesis)

But Mecha anime is the best platform for what you've described, some of the best shows in that category were mecha, like Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven, and Samurai Flamenco or for more of a dark show, Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I Personally Recommend Samurai Flamenco and Gurren Lagann. Samurai Flamenco counts more as a Tokusatsu than a Mecha anyways.

They definitely are trying to compete with Crunchy - which is fine, except that their service is only for the US and Canada, but they still get and then sit on rights for other regions. :/

I'm suprised they are taking so long to announce KnB. Though apparently it will air on Daisuki?? Please share with them please!

Indeed. Kinda pointless for us outside. Otherwise. It would sound tempting. Hell. Even having a membership at both would hardly be a ruinous experience.

though i'd prefer only to have to subscribe to one service tbh.

So first season of Durarara is available in Denmark but second season isn't.. That's a bit odd. Not that i am shedding any tears. Tried watching it, but for some reason it just doesn't grab me.

Still, must be a pity for anyone else..

DURARARA!! X 2 will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North America, Central America, South America, Ireland, and UK.

So, the thing I had been fearing the most happened. Great. I told myself that with season one being available in Scandinavia, surely season 2 would make it even if AoA is now the distributor, but no. When the UK doesn't get a show, we're UK, and when Europe doesn't, we're Europe... I am seriously considering giving up on legal streaming at this point.

Yeah, it is seriously odd, not to mention disappointing. I was hopinh they'd go with the same trend from season 1.
