I forget names. People I have met. people I work with, and so on. No good with names, but in the same time I remember every thing that happens in a book I have read or an anime I have seen.

I'm more or less the same. Can't remember names to save my life. Not my coworkers, not acquaintances. Even if I did learn, I'm sure I'd forget in a couple of weeks anyway.
But otherwise, I do have good memory. I'm good at learning(studying Japanese currently, even learning kanji goes relatively well), good at remembering events and story in books and anime, news, faces of people I have met, maps(I'm actually quite good at memorizing maps, give me a map of your average town( ~40000p) and I'll memorize it in a day. Admittedly I forget them easily too unless I repeat later..), what-have-you. But names...

So you've never had a word you wanted to say at the tip of your tongue but couldn't remember it? There's never been a change in your schedule and you mindlessly forget about ? Do you remember the 5th word in the second paragraph of the 3rd book you red after you turned 12?

I find that hard to believe.

Yeah, I used to say it was having a senior moment, but the older I get (& I'm pushing 50) the less I like that explanation!!

That's just a different kind of "cold cereal."
(Been guilty of doing that for most of my life.)
Just don't leave the milk in the cupboard....

I can remember things from when I was about a year or two old but I still forget to flush the toilet now and then.
If I am preoccupied it gets worse.

However when I listen to the guy who is sort of my boss, I find that I HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT....
(I swear this guy could misplace his ass even if it was attached to his face....)
