Sure, we can all go out and order any asian food we like. And some of us have our favorite takeout foods... but what about those of you that cook at home? What have you learned to make that's your go to asian dish to make?

Personally, I've adapted a few kimchi recipes to come up with one that totally kicks ass (I use sambal oelek chili paste instead of the traditional gochujang, as one of my secret modifications), but I also have to admit, just a simple thai coconut soup makes me happy.

My sister on the other hand, likes it when I do gyoza, though she hates it when I do a peanut sauce of any type. :P

Mixing and matching really suits me more, rather than trying to adhere rigorously to one traditional set of ingredients or style.

But anyhow, what are your favorite dishes to make?

EDIT:Holy shit did I fuck up on that title. Note to self. Don't try to do two things at once..

I love to make chicken wontons. Tempura shrimp is also fun.

I don't make either often because they both can make a huge mess.

I do make stir fry often. Just love eating lots of veggies.

Stir fried bean sprouts with shredded pork and garlic.

I love bean sprouts. Bean sprouts are amazing. When I make ramen I add more sprouts than the noodles itself.

ETA: Oh, yeah should probably post something on topic. I don't cook much these days but I do put soy sauce on my eggs when I run out of salsa. Does that count
