Back then, my favorite performer's name is Michael V. Pretty funny, pretty talented. Not actually pretty in person. hahaha
Then, I got a mutt dog. As a tribute, I was going to call it Michael B, but I looked under and I decided to call it Michael A or Michaela.

I just made that name up. Changing B to A. And the dog liked being called by its name anyway. So, we kept it.

Then, one day, some girl at school was being called by her friends. "Hey, Michaela!!"

I was like, "omg. Somebody has the same name as my dog." I bursted into tears and laughing. I was laughing at her and she had this question mark on her face. I never knew there would be a real person named Michaela.

So, yea. It's kinda cruel, but it's my secret... till now. =P

Do you like calling your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife with pet names? How about you?

Theodore J P Wigglebottoms is kind of my cat. He thinks he is mine anyway. There was no special formula for coming up with it. I simply thought of the name.

My dog's name is Kashmir. He's a lab-boxer mix, so he's a big black dog. Led Zeppelin has a song called Black Dog, so I named him after my favorite Led Zeppelin song, which is Kashmir. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfR_HWMzgyc ^.^ on the other hand, everyone always seems to think it's "Cashmere," the material, and they always say "oh you're right, he's so soft!!!" ... So I get super pumped when someone hears his name and says, "oh, like Led Zeppelin??"

I have a 10 year old chihuahua bitch (that's 70 in dog years!) named Maddie(I don't know where it came from, I guess it just popped in my head at the time*s*), and a 9 month-old neutered cat named Muffin (was "cute as a buttonmuffin"^.-) that I use feminine pronouns with because I at first thought "she" was a girl. (At this point she effectively is anyway ).

I found my cat Willow under a tractor in the middle of the field with her umbilical cord still attached. Her mother had left her because he was the runt. It was windy that day and her fur was so soft and it was billowing in the wind. It reminded me of a willow tree, for some reason.

Xiu Xiu is my cat. Named her after the band who named themselves after the movie called Xiu Xiu The Sent Down Girl. I also call her Snugglebomb when she's being adorable and Miss Princess when she's being troublesome.

The first pet I ever had was a cat. I called her Koa because I found her at a K.O.A. camp ground...

The two dogs I have now are named Dusty and River, both girls. River got her name because I live in Arizona, and when we first got her as a puppy the first thing she did was go play in the Colorado river. Dusty got her name because she was playing in the dirt and got all dusty...

Another kitten I had before she died I named Zona because I didn't like Missouri and wanted to go back to Arizona...

Had a Shizsu or however it's spelled growing up named Bandit because it was all white except for his paws and a patch over the eyes...

One of the cats I was house-sitting for one time had a littler of kittens and one of them came out orange even though the mom was calico. I named him pumpkin...

I'm bad with names.

Edit:

Makes me wonder that if I ever have a child of my own and they're born in the hospital, if I'll end up naming him/her "Labor Room" or "Lab Coat" or something.

Oh, please don't.

Well, X Ray sounds good. Professor Xavier + Ray Romano as you try to persuade the public... but, in secret, it's literally just a named after an x Ray.

my cat Killian: came up with his name in a weird name. originally named him Bandit, but when I would read to him he responded to Killian...so Killian he became...

my papillon Erwin: Erwin was originally Erie, until I realized he was a boy (he had a lot of fur, and he was dumped near my house and covered in matted fur, twigs, and mud :/ ) so we decided Erwin Rommel, in honor of the original Desert Fox who was up against General Patton. my little Erwin has HUGE ears like a fox lol

I call my boyfriend mister when I want something, and slug because he sometimes moves as slow as a slug XD

My dog is Haruko, or only Haru.

When she was a puppy she was very active and unstoppable, like Haruhara Haruko from FLCL (Furi Kuri).

My samoyed husky is named Zena. This is simply because my dad wanted to get a boy, and we couldn't. So he decided to name her Zena after Xena the warrior princess. (Don't ask why, but the name Zena was supposed to make her more manly or something) The z instead of x is because my sisters name is Zoey and we wanted the dogs name to be like Zoey's because they are the two youngest in the family.

When I get my cat, I'm calling him 'Jiji' because he looks the same as Jiji from Kiki's delivery service.
