As you can see, DC starts to pick things up in 2016, but Marvel also steps up their game by releasing three films per year starting in 2017. Now, you're probably thinking, "DC has a long way to go to catch up to Marvel..."

Also, you're wondering "Where is the Dark Knight Trilogy?" or "What about the Spider-Man and X-Men films?" Unfortunately, as much as I wish they were, they are not part of these shared film universes

Anyway, what do you guys think about all this? Who do you think will win in the end? Marvel or DC?

Personally i dont really like the whole "dc vs marvel" dispute. because to me they just seem like two entirely different companies as far as the comic books go. even though i hate to do it because i enjoy the works of both sides of this coin i'd have to side with dc as far as the movies go for one simple reason. they are making a movie on one of my favoriet super heros, aquaman... he gets alot of flack but he is just so badass. not to mention the dawn of justice movie coming out and the eventual justice league movie, they've got me sold for tickets to those films on personal hype alone.

I'm hopeing they dont pull a "hal jordan" again... that was just absolute crap.

I'm excited for most all the movies but...........
I will say this

Why the heck is Marvel ignoring the fans of Black Widow and Hawkeye? Hawkeye has had absolutely no development in the movies heck on top of that he's had the least amount of screen time, I don't think he's even had an hour of screen time.

And while I am really excited for the Captain Marvel movie I can't help but wonder how they will handle the story seeing as well Carol Danvers started as Ms. Marvel I'm not sure how they will handle her origin story. That said I admit that I only recently joined the Carol Corps so I don't know a whole lot about the character yet

Also Marvel please please please don't make Tony Stark the creator of Ultron. Plain and simple Hank Pym is the creator so please don't once again change it to Tony.

As for DC, not going to lie I'm not sure what to think of Batman vs Superman set up
From what they've shown with the cast list so far... Are they seriously trying to make the origin story of the entire Justice League with one movie? I've heard people say that that's one thing that Marvel did right was make the series of movies before trying to make the Avengers and I agree

Also sorry but I'm one of the people that did not like Man of Steel
I actually am not too upset that Superman killed Zod but I HATED how they portrayed John Kent

That said though I am looking forward to all the movies from both DC and Marvel
Especially:
Shazam
Aquaman
Captain Marvel
and Avengers

At the moment, I think it is Marvel's to lose. Warner Brothers & DC have yet to figure out the "magic" that Disney & Marvel have worked together. DC is still thinking that people go to see these movies only for the superheroes. That only draws in the hardcore crowd. To make a movie really successful, it has to appeal to wider demographics than the comic book crowd.

Wow!!! They are fiercely competitive and seems very busy with many film projects. I think Marvel has the ability to win more, its recent films are much hotter than DC's. However, nothing is sure.
