He is probably what you guys are diagnosing him as but the thing is, this is anime and I want either likeable MCs or enigmatic/interesting unsympathetic ones. Inaho is as fascinating as mold. I get that the setting is very grim, but so was the setting of Rage of Bahamut, and it gave us unforgettably engaging protags like Favaro and Kaisar. I'm so over MCs like Inaho and the bulletproof big bro from Mahouka. Personality is the spice of life.

I share Insomnist's viewpoint except I think Slaine's motivations were based on his admiration and devotion to his princess, and Inaho reacts to his surroundings in culturally accepted but peculiar ways. He's Terran and identifies as Terran, but he's not the type to think of martians as enemies unless they directly threaten him. He the type of person who works hard and optimizes the results he considers it his task to do.

of course, all bets are off with the new season.

I don't know, but I do know that since Gen Urobuchi is autistic it's no surprise that people are making that connection. Just look at the other characters he had a hand in creating: from the low-functioning sociopath that is Emiya Kuritsugu to the down-syndrome stricken Ledo, it's obvious that Urobuchi is more than a little neuroatypical.
