On the PlayStation app, it's possible to skip by pressing the R1 or L1 button to skip to the next or previous episode respectively. This can also be done on the Wii U app. In fact, every app I've tried thus far has given me the option to skip to the next episode.
However, there doesn't appear to be an option to do this on the Xbox One... Or am I just missing something? It's such a basic feature that is supported on virtually every other Crunchyroll platform, so I'm fairly sure I'm just doing something wrong.

Though, if the app truly doesn't have a skip function, I will not be using it on the Xbox One. There's just no point in using an incomplete application.

I have yet to use the Crunchyroll feature on my Xbox One. I do however have CR on my Kindle Fire and I can sincerely say it is incomplete, and a money hall (ironic though, cause its free.) I do believe though that a "skip to the next episode feature" is a major convenience, its not nearly a necessity.
You should be able to just end the episode, go to the main menu of it. Then select the anime, then just click the new episode. Its not a very long process if that is what you have to endure to get your latest fix of One Piece, lol. I hope this helped!

For me, having the ability to skip to the next episode the instant the 'To Be Continued' screen appears on One Piece is practically a requirement for me to use the app.
Every other console had it, at least to my knowledge. I don't want to watch the last 2 minutes of whatever the heck goes on after the To Be Continued screen.

So, if skipping isn't yet an option on the Xbox One, I have no reason to use the app. I can just watch my anime on the PS4 or Wii U, which both contain more features and a better user interface.

The Xbox One is my media device, so I find it rather ironic that it has the worst Crunchyroll app of any home console.

It's non existent. It baffles me because it was on the 360 version. No idea why they would remove it.

If you have smartglass you can skip using that. Heck you can skip a lot of episodes if you can too. I made a topic on how to get into your queue and what not.
