I don't think I'll ever get through my anime backlog, same goes for my games. I've been ignoring some of the games I've purchased just so I can get through some others

It's not forever alone, it's forever backlogged

I have so many titles on my plan to watch, but they're piling up by the bucketload and I keep forgetting to watch the earlier ones

I have a gaming backlog of about 80 odd games. I just can't be bothered to install and play them.

It seems like the more anime I watch the longer my backlog somehow manages to grow. How is that even possible?

My game backlog is pretty bad too.

I'll pray for you...

Haha, but seriously yeah, there's heaps of movies, albums and anime series I want to watch, but there's just not enough time in a day.

Time is running out.

I have about 500 backgrounds from Kobato that I need to scan and I've only done about 40 or so.

when you have the time and in the mood, just take them one at a time. slowly but surely you'll make that list shrink. I still got like 60+ shows to go through and 10 or so games to beat.

I have anime unopened I bought over 6 years ago still sitting on my shelves. And it was only last year that I finally finished a short manga series I bought close to 10 years ago. So yeah...I know how you feel.

I have a backlog of shows to watch as well. However, every time I plan on watching 1 of those shows, another one comes along.

This could never be more true...

It is saddening...however, in a way, it is also a good thing. You will never run out of things to occupy yourself, because you will always have a backlog. This is how I look at things, because the thought of actually running out of anime to watch or games to play is unimaginable. Another way I see it is that the most important shows/games will be watched/played first, and the least interesting ones will be secondary. Which means my backlog wouldn't kill me since they mostly consist of optional items to go through.

This doesn't work for people that view everything in their backlog equally, because then you have the burning desire to do everything, even though you know your backlog will never end. At that point, you're just a masochist.
