Personally, Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. They're actually some of my favourite movies of all time.

Wolf Children

Ghibli movies are all fantastic, but this movie just touches your heart in a completely different way. Easy 10/10.

I got my nephew this movie for Christmas. He was so excited to have one of his own. He watches Naruto with his mother.

I really like Makoto Shinkai's work (5 centimeters per second, the place promised in our early days, voices of a distant star, children who chase lost voices, the garden of words). Absolute masterpieces; visually stunning and touching.

I keep thinking of Perfect Blue by Satoshi Kon. That one is very thought provoking.

The movie was very good, but it did suffer from a lot of the same issue that the series did. Namely that it just wasnt very much about Haruhi Suzumiya...

I think The Girl Who Leapt through Time is a *slightly* better film with similar themes and atmosphere, although Disappearance has better animation; If only because in order to watch Disappearance, you still have to sit through two seasons of the anime and I honestly don't think it's worth it when you can get basically the same experience elsewhere.

Since I just found out about this movie and the animation is beautiful (except for a few scene with the characters) and the story is intriguing, albeit a little slower pace in some parts, I'd say The Sky Crawlers. It's an alternate history anime with a plot focused around fighter pilots. I won't say more than that since I might delve into spoiler territory:

This intrigues me. Are there any legal streams for it?

For the topic:
Princess Mononoke is probably my favorite anime movie. I like that it portrays the struggle between man and nature in shades of grey instead of just black and white.

you can watch it over at Amazon for 3.99 to rent in HD streaming (its a two hour film). Unfortunately it isn't hosted by any streaming service like CR or Funimation. If you want more info you can send me a PM as well.

Summer Wars, because I like how the story develops and how the importance of family is in the movie also it some some funny moments that will make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it, and also King of Thorns because of how well done the animation style is and how well the CGI in it is able to perfectly mesh into any scenes and also the movie is very interesting to watch and keeps your eyes glued to the screen for the entire movie

I need to hunt down King of Thorns in a high-def stream. That movie definitely looked interesting to say the least.
