Summer Wars, because I like how the story develops and how the importance of family is in the movie also it some some funny moments that will make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it, and also King of Thorns because of how well done the animation style is and how well the CGI in it is able to perfectly mesh into any scenes and also the movie is very interesting to watch and keeps your eyes glued to the screen for the entire movie

I need to hunt down King of Thorns in a high-def stream. That movie definitely looked interesting to say the least.

I know Funimation streams it. Don't remember what the definition options were.

I found the switch between traditional and cg animation to be a bit odd. Something was bugging me everytime there was an action scene and I eventually payed enough attention to realize they were using cg.

Well if you want to watch King of Thorns, and don't mind some ads, you can find it on Hulu.com for free in both sub and dub

well it's a damn good thing I plan on getting that 4.95 a month deal with Funimation for Sub only stuff since I've more or less exhausted all of their dubs when I had their 2 week premium trial membership.

They have the dub for it and it's not bad.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, the best anime movie I've ever seen, the anime is 0 next to this movie

the movie was just so perfect

The movie was very good, but it did suffer from a lot of the same issue that the series did. Namely that it just wasnt very much about Haruhi Suzumiya...

I think The Girl Who Leapt through Time is a *slightly* better film with similar themes and atmosphere, although Disappearance has better animation; If only because in order to watch Disappearance, you still have to sit through two seasons of the anime and I honestly don't think it's worth it when you can get basically the same experience elsewhere.

the movie is the only reason to watch the anime lol, but yes you have to watch the anime, gladly I did before crunchyroll removed it

My favorite is and will always be Spirited Away. I grew up with that movie, me and my brother would always rent it and watch it whenever we got the chance. That was back before I even knew what anime was and that it was from Japan. That animation was amazing and I absolutely loved the setting and story.

I second what people said about Wolf Children, 5 CM per Second, Spirited Away, but I will add Grave of the Fireflies.

Tokyo Godfathers

Best Christmas movie ever made, and it's not even close.
