I don't watch TV anymore specially news channels, because all they talk about is something bad that happens in the world is kinda sick if you ask me...
Wars
Terrorism
Plane Crashes
I mean it's good to know stuff, but sometimes I think news channels exaggerate

Most news stations run 24 hours a day. Only so much new news happens in a day. I can't blame them for airing it but I agree. I typically try to avoid news after large events its repetitive for days.

I do watch the news, because I want to know what goes on in the world.
Sure, it's not always a fun thing to look at but ignoring it isn't going to make it go away either.

I do avoid the shows that "discuss the news" as well as the well known "propaganda machines".

I rarely even look at the TV anymore. Ever since I got a good computer and my Crunchyroll account, I've been chilling in my room. Sometimes I don't even go out for days unless I have to eat or pee.

It's sad but true. Story of my life.

Yes. Among my favorite news sources are The Washington Post, BBC, NPR, The New York Times, Time magazine, The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, and NHK. I'm leery of Fox News and CNN, but I'll at least look at them. Sources I veer away from unless I'm looking to see what has been said in them include The Sun, The Daily Mail, and Russia Today. None of those three are worth the paper they're printed on, the airwaves they block, or the bandwidth they consume as far as I'm concerned.

I mainly watch Fox, read Forbes, The Daily Caller, listen to Npr. Can't stand Msn and I like variety of articles from yahoo when i'm on break at work. I personally think it good to keep up with current events but if it a issue I actually care about then I do my own research. That's one thing i'm grateful from work is that I have to look at things from multiple angles whenever i'm preparing a report. Any website like tmz and salon are just junk. I stay clear of any celebrity websites or mags.

I watch CNN and the Mexican news channel everyday.
If I want to know what's going on in Europe I watch the Spanish news

I have a ritual of checking all the major news networks online at least twice daily, sometimes three times.

I watch Vice News on YouTube, I like it because they report on things going on around the world and they do it very objectively.

Barely.

Sometimes I just tune in to the news station to check up on the weather, if I can't use my phone to do the same thing.
