What is your outlook on life (A serious thread.).
Posted 1/14/15

So, be honest. And not just concerning your personal or professional life, but your world view as well. Be as descriptive as you can.

Personally I'm somewhat an optimist, well I try to be, I guess because I've seen people struggle and prevail despite staggering odds, and I've learned that while things can always get worse, we have it within ourselves as a people the capacity to learn from our ordeals and it make the world a better place, or at least make an effort to do so.

So, how charitable are you? No one lives forever, but all of us, to some degree, can make a positive contribution to someone or something. For example, giving to a worthy cause, or volunteering to teach a class.

To be honest, I'm kinda unsure of my outlook on life.

It's half and half, depending on my day and mood. Sometimes i see the optimistic side of life, other times i see absolutely nothing.

I have a strong dislike for life. Nothing good has come of it so far, and after 27 years of it I feel as if it's just an inconvenience.

I think that people generally make it a shitty proposition. It COULD be tolerable or better, but in general, it's full of suck.

I enjoy it quite a bit. I have a full-time job, my own house and a girlfriend who I am going to marry once we finish our degrees. I do not see why you do not enjoy it. From an atheist stand point, I believe, this is all we have and after that there is nothing. So appreciate what little you do have before you say " it sucks"<- all EMO style. Besides, if you want a better life maybe you should try getting off the couch and doing something with it. Take it from me, I was born poor with drug addicted parents I jumped from friends houses until I was the age of 20 and decided to do something with my life. Honestly, that is all it really takes, decide you want something better and make it happen.

I usually try and have a bright outlook on life to make it tolerable but sometimes it can be a real bitch. I think this quote from Mushishi fits well here "Do not allow yourself to be blinded by fear or anger. Everything is only as it is"

Life can be frustrating at times, but I am sure if life was easy everyone would become bored with it.

I have a positive outlook on the world. I believe naturally everyone wants to live so no real need to fear a nuclear war. However I do feel there are bad parts of the earth. I think what we see as evil is what thoses see as a means of survival.

As far as career I'm pleased. I know what I want to be. A Massage Therapist, pays well let's me help others and I'm good at it. I find healing threw massage very interesting. I have a strong passion for it and I know it does help others.

I would gladly pass on everything I have to my closest family/charity. However I do not know how I feel about being a organ donor. I don't find the thought of someone striping my deceased body of my organs.

pew pew.

Who are you calling a lazy "emo", dumbass? Oh I get it, the emo thread. I like how trolls stalk my posts looking for ammunition, its flattering to receive that kind of attention. Well, I'm not an emo but I don't mind being called it as a baseless accusation that has no merit whatsoever. On that thread I did nothing but criticize it. And I never lived off my parents until I was 20 you false psychic fuck. ~

"Let's make it *rock", I think.
I think that you're right, though. You can either be pessimistic or miserable about life, optimistic about life, realistic or you just don't care. I think having a nice life is a reasonable balance between being optimistic and realistic.
