So Anime characters have some out their color for their hair, and I was just wondering (for the characters that don't seem to dye their hair) what the real world color would be. Like:

Purple - is probably a light black
Pink?
Green?
Yellow - blonde
silver - grey or silver
etc.

What do you think?

Green would probably dirty blonde and pink would be strawberry blonde or a ginger.

Considering hair color is more about differentiating characters, and anime is typically filled with japanese characters....

so assuming they don't dye their hair:

Red=Black
Blue=Black
Pink=Black
Green=Black
Orange=Black
Purple=Black
White=Black
Black=Black
Yellow= European/American character, so OBVIOUSLY they're blonde. Don't you know all Caucasians have blonde hair!?!!?!?

In Furuba, they explained that all the Sohmas' hair colors that we see are their real hair colors. So Kyo would be orange, Yuki will be grey and Haru is black and white.

I think of their hair color as exactly the color they show. So Pink is Pink and green is green. It's a made up world where our hair rules don't apply. It's like how in some Anime's blonde hair means you are a deviant where as others blonde is just another color.

Now if girls really did have blue, purple, green, pink, etc...hair I think the world would be a happier place

I've met an Asian man with natural red hair within his black hair before. Weird shit, he said he was half New Guinean or something.

what about pastel pink/blue/green - sure the darker shades would translate to black but does that mean these translate to white?

Every color on a japanese character essentially equates to whatd be black or brown in real life; while any color on a foreign character, namely a character of Caucasian descent, will likely represent or even be blonde.
