So I have this need to watch a really good anime that fits my description and I can't seem to find it. I'll do my best to explain although I'm not very good at describing.

PLEASE COMPLETED ANIME ONLY. Nothing on-going or waiting for a second season please.

Firstly I prefer a somewhat long anime, like 50-100 I guess, although 25s are fine too. I really enjoy getting attached to the characters. Action preferred.

I find myself questioning the realism of some animes, or should I say being realistic in the anime. An example, villian had very easy chance to kill main character, but didn't for whatever reason. I hate this. Please be a realistic anime.

EMOTION. Must have intense emotion. I'm talking MC comes outta no where to save a girl, his head turned, zoomed in on the mouth as he says some badass line. I love shit like this. Essentially epic badass moments with passion.

I'm getting tired of TOO much super power. An ability here or there isn't too bad but don't have 3 perks to the 5 attachments of the main ability if you get my drift. No super powers is preferred but not a must.

Also good animated scenes are a huge plus. I love seeing smooth fights, especially with passion behind them.

Any questions please ask, and thank you to anyone who decides to post here.

Blood+ I believe it was 50 episodes. One of my all time favs. This is one of the very few I watched in DUB. My reason for that was my internet was down for a few days and Blood+ happened to be On Demand. All 50 episodes. So I watched them over like 3 days.

50+ episode series, all with good action and character development, and a bit of romance:

- Eureka Seven

- Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. (The older FMA works too, but personally I prefer Brotherhood.)

- A Certain Magical Index (Two 24 Episode seasons, plus a closely related Spin-off Series call A Certain Scientific Railgun).

- Full Metal Panic (Two 24 Episode seasons, plus a side-series called FMP: Fumofu that has little action but much more comedy).

- Familiar of Zero (Four 24 episode seasons in total, though the middle two are harder to track down; this one is a bit lighter in tone than the others, and has significantly more fan service)

I actually looked that up a few weeks ago but something turned me off I can't remember what. Is it 100% finished? If so definetly might watch that. Thanks

Heard good things about eureka seven, might give that a try. I've seen brotherhood haha. The others I shall look into, thanks:

Hmmm. I would suggest Wolfs Rain, but it's one of those series that you either love or hate. It deals a lot with character development and focuses on it quite a bit. That being said, if you can't identify with or like any of the four main characters you probably won't enjoy the series.

It's 26 episodes long, has lots of emotion (assuming you get attached to the characters), and they aren't super powered. The chracter personalities aren't the run of the mill cookie cutter types you generally associate with anime so they probably fit your criteria for more believable. This also explains why some people just don't like them.

I had no issue getting attached to all four of them but I also have eclectic taste and enjoy nearly anything.

And I need to watch this again. I watched it about eight years ago and every time I reccomend it I tell myself to watch it again. I have it floating around somewhere on disc so I have no real excuse.
