If you could be immortal, able to live forever, regenerate and survive from any wound.....

Would you?

I would.

No, because if the world did explode, it would be pretty damn boring floating for all of eternity.

Then you'd eventually hit a new world. Keep doing this until you reach one with life.

at that point it would depend on if i could feel pain or not

flying through space for the rest of forever sounds pretty sick honestly

Yes I'd take it. It would make things really fun. I'd be able to see our technology rise and see us move to other planets and all that. You probably would be come close to a god after living for so long. As long as humanity doesn't die out and we keep moving forward in technology.

Throw in eternal youth and we've got a deal. I don't want to be an old wrinkly bag of dust walking around.

That's implied. Regeneration, y'know. Cells that die just come back, so no aging.

If i didn't feel pain, i would probably go throw myself out of high buildings and whatever, just to cause a scene.
No, i probably wouldn't do that. Would be a wast of time climbing all those stairs (if it's one thing immortal beings don't have enough of, it's most certainly time) but it would be fun to slip and fall off a high place just once.

No because eventually you'd be like literary vampires where they have just lived so long and experienced so much that everything is boring and you are starting wars or blowing up chunks of the world for fun. In short you'd eventually become the worst thing you could think of and you won't even care because your sense of right and wrong will have eroded over the centuries into jaded oblivion where everyone and everything only exists to please you.

The average person has issues; try giving those thousands of years to fester...yeah...no thanks.

yea, but if you can't control where you land you might get stuck and encapsulated until that planet blows up, or frozen, or blackholed where you are litterly a spec of sand with conciousness. basically cases where it wouldn't matter how fast you can regenerate because you are screwed either way and go completely insane.

if i became immortal and were given the chance to resign the ability within a 24 hours basis i'd probably keep it. only if its under the principal that i can manipulate my age, don't want to be a lab rat for eternity. but then, after a good amount of time, imma go and be a deadpool where i try to kill myself.

but with that idea, if your brain were to simply disappear and you regenerate it, would i be the personal at the moment of destruction or at moment of immortality.
