This subject has caused some controversy. Even now. It is debatable the creators did this intentionally.
Me personally I did like it even though I am a straight man. I thought it was cute although it was unexpected.
I generally hated the series as a whole though. To me it felt like the creators dropped the ball and lowered the bar so to speak. I hated how they forced a love triangle between Mako, Bolin and Korra right from the get go and had a bunch of teen angst/ drama. But in the original series they gave the relationship between Aang and Katara time to breathe right from the very moment katara free aang from the iceberg. I hated how they recycled voice like Dante Basco as General Iroh WTF?!? He was the original voice of Zuko. And that OVERUSED CGI Animation used on the Mechs ect. The other animation was beautiful though.

If anything I got the sense they accepted each other as sisters, rather than the two being a couple.

To say korra & asami are together just doesn't feel right. I want to state that I'm not against same gender relationships, i just believe that from season 1 to 4, korra & mako would be together but it would be a crush that became true love. Where as that felt gradual & natural development of the character's affections towards each-other like aang and katara, it didn't for kora and asami.

People will call me ignorant and narrow minded for my comment but the truth is it was an unexpected, unplanned last min addition to the story. To me it didn't convey true to the actions in the previous seasons like asami being jealous about mako choosing korra over her.

Maybe if the writers made it so korra & asami were closer from season 2 to 4, and developed their relationship, then i could see the ship more legit. Sadly i still can't see it working, it still seems like a last minute decision just to end the show with heated discussion.

The only way it could work now, is if another spinoff/sequel in the avatar universe confirms their relationship.

It's not really debatable, both creators have come out and confirmed that Korrasami is canon in the romantic sense.

I'm fine with it tbh, the ending was beautifully done (aaaahhhh that last musical number was fantastic). I shipped Makorra and Masami during most of the first season, but the love triangle/mess ruined it for me and I was pretty happy to see both absent in S3. I actually thought Korra might end up single, which would have been cool too, but as I saw Korra and Asami work and fight alongside each other, I could see why Korrasami fans shipped them. The finale of S3 kinda had me thinking there was more to it as well, but I have to say I didn't actually expect Nickelodeon to allow it. So kudos to Bryke for making those choices, and to the rest of the Korra team too; it's a good step forward in terms of representation.

The ending really was fine with me, though it didnt seem like they were anymore than friends.

The options in this poll are... strange.

I've never even watched a single Episode of it. So it's over, huh? Who was Korra's final Antagonist She had to fight?

I wasn't shipping them, but I like it.

apathy as never liked legend of korra series. only liked Varrick and zulie. best couple in the series.
towards the end i had the feeling that korra and asami would end up together as this series had a habit of showing a lot of teenage feelings
but i guess it's better than what this series could have done.

wholeheartedly agree, and I'm tired of people giving me the argument I'm homophobic when the answer is that ^

Snap. For a lot of people if we disagree with how Korra ended, they label us as anti-homosexual & believe in discrimination. If anything they're the ones who believe in discrimination since they're happy to label us as anti-homosexual without seeing what our view/opinion is actually about.

I just felt that korasami seemed rushed from being love rivals in 1st series, to rocky friends in 2nd & 3rd series and 4th series being good friends.

I love the ending but I have one question

Doesn't the Avatar owe it to the world to have children with Avatar genes?

I felt like there were some hints but only if you read them that way. There was nothing super obvious that indicated their romantic relationship at all. They kept everything fairly ambiguous the entire last season. I liked the ending but I wish they would've expanded on the interpersonal relationships with all of the characters more than they did. Maybe they'll decide to do that in a comic series like the original Avatar? Here's hoping! Lol.
