Redwall, Watership Down, The Hobbit, The Prydain Chronicles, and Never Cry Wolf.

Like most 90's kids I read Goosebumps (and Stein's other series like Fear Street) and Animorphs as well.

Loved choose-your-own-adventure and children horror novels as well.

I had a full library of books at my fingertips as a child, so I had a long list of favorites from a young age. Some examples from before I discovered Harry Potter...

Maurice Sendak's/Else Holmelund Minarik's "Little Bear"

Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach"

Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland"

Robert Musch's "Love You Forever"

"The ABC's of Human Anatomy", for which I couldn't find an image... But...

"Texas Wildflowers"

I also loved Biology books of any kind...

I also loved books on paleontology and dinosaurs...

I've also always loved fairytales...

and Halloween... (I didn't have this specific book as a child, but it came out when I was a kid and now I LOVE Scary Godmother)

I was also addicted to reading these over and over...

I also liked language books and had one like this...

I might add that I was a child who would spend entire weekends holed up alone in my room with my library...
