I am the owner of the Moto G (2014) and yesterday I upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop. Since yesterday I've been coming back to the download section of the app on the Google Play store to see if any news has popped up and see if anyone is in my predicement. So far I have seem to be alone on the matter... Before upgrading to Lollipop the app worked fine and just finished watching Naruto Shippuden and Parasyte. Would this be an app issue (not yet updated for lollipop for example) or would this be a Android issue?

I have the same problem, but on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet running Android 4.4.2. I just installed the latest firmware update, and can no longer download Crunchyroll. When I look at the Google Play page, it says "Designed for phones" and "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

search the forums for "nexus". recent post of someone who cannot install app. i have CR app on Note 2 and Tab 3 10.1. both say most recent update not compatible with device. -_- i tweeted and emailed support with no reply. frustrating that they will not post somewhere in the play store or on their site they are aware of the issue. in the nexus post, someone says anyone with android 4.3 and greater was affected and they are aware and fixing it. wish they were more upfront with status since many of us are premium members who want to use apps and not the website... technical glitches happen but at least inform us. g/l. i cannot install on my new note 4 either.

I've seen others mention this but haven't heard anything about a resolution.

We do have a whole "help" section of forums for CR-related issues so I've moved this to the Android forum there. (The Advice, Info, Recommendations forum is intended for everything else)

ETA: here's a link to a recent thread in which a customer support person did reply. If this is your issue, it seems they are working on it: /forumtopic-884461/cant-install-crunchyroll-anime-app-nexus

Appears fixed. Installed on Note 4 successfully. Upgraded Tab 3 10.1 as well. Thanks to 2 mods who posted here. Seems like forum posts > emailing support > tweeting CR. App unavailable for a few days... Glad to have it back... Good luck everyone!

Thank you for directing me to the right sub :D.
Didn't noticed the "Help!" sub section of the forum so many thanks for that lol.

Things seem to be peachy on my end now as with apparently many others as well. Just watched Log Horizon after itching to see it since updating to lollipop.

Very happy the app works again many hugs and shots of whiskey to the people responsible for making it possible to watch on my Crunchyroll phone again :D!
