I suck at it
Last time I did, it only turned out well because I got lucky and didn't hit the darn curb

I know how, but I'm not very good at it lol. I avoid it as much as I can.

my driver's test didn't even have that.... hell we went around the block so the guy giving my test could go look at some freakin rims

You must have gotten an easy instructor! I hope you know how to do the basics, haha.

with no speeding tickets (or any ticket at all) and one accident (I was rear ended at a stop light) I think I'm pretty good

perhaps this tutorial can help you - http://www.carsut.com/how-to-parallel-park-a-car/

The key is TURN when the rear wheel is inline with the front wheel of the car at the back.

This is a bad example. Turn too slow.

Well, considering you need to parallel park to get a license, yes

I could for my test.

I live in the suburbs though, we don't parallel park any-fuckin'-where. After so many years of not having to do it...wellll you just forget how. I could relearn it though I'm sure. Just can't right now.

I had to learn with a full-sized van. Now I can do it with any (normal) vehicle almost perfectly every time. It's not hard. You just need to not be afraid of trying it, and you will get better.
