GS customer service called me today wanted to let me know to call them to finish up an order. Does anybody know what they will most likely ask me and such when I call them tomorrow?

doesn't sound right to me, I wouldn't call them back. You should go to the store and talk to them about it. Could be that info got leaked online and someone is trying to scam you.

yeah, get this. my wife has be getting calls from all over the state at all hours, 1am, ect. so i call the numbers back on a different phone, seconds later, and they say, 'nope didnt call.' every singly time. figure some one is ghosting phones and...not sure what or why.

go to game stop, dont trust anyting over the fone.

I would still go to the store, you probably gave them your email and phone and might have gotten phished.

Don't call them back. Go there in person to check. GameStop doesn't do transactions over the phone.

I went to the store to pre-order the New 3ds XL Monster Hunter edition. They told me that somehow their system was accepting payments so I left only pre-ordering DBZ. Got home and checked my email and saw an email from them stating that my order when through. I sent them an email to make sure it would not get cancelled because in the past, if anything i pre-ordered ended up on their site, they would cancel it. Got an email stating that they would call me to finalize the order. And here I am, wondering what to do now.

Ugh, what can the store do? I cant seem them being able to do anything but telling me "call customer service"or "can't do anything".

I've moved this to the Advice, Info, Recommendations forum.

I think you should call GS at a number you know to be their number (rather than a number the caller left for you to call back at) and verify if the inquiry you received sounds legit. -- Does the number provided in the email match what's on their website and what the person who called you gave you as a number? If so, then go ahead and call.

Also, please don't make multiple posts all in a row. You can just edit your prior post if you need to add or change something. I'm going to go ahead and do that for you now, but do keep it in mind for the future.

Alright, I was planning to call them. thanks :D

edit:
the email's phone number matches the website's but some reason the phone call didn't say the phone number so i might just call the number the email and site provides to be on the safe side.

edit 2:

Also after they called i checked the GS and now it says that my order is closed, i assume it means cancelled.

Edit 3: found out that the number was real. -_-

So apparently GS lied to my face....how surprising -_-
They told me i could pay for the console until the end of today and wont be cancelled and yet they cancelled it the day before!!!!
