Got 126 on the third. I guess im satisfied. My scores on the other two were in the lower 100s which I consider quite dismal.
Logic questions really do befuddle me sometimes but the third test was easier for me. Taking them on mobi did not help.

Personally I think the series mathematical questions are what stump me the most. Math is my worst subject for a reason, but I am very good at the english portions of the test.
Also, I haven't graduated from high school yet, so my brain isn't exactly at its fullest potential.

I know I'm very intelligent, but I do feel dishearted that damn test groups me as "average". I'm no genius, but I'm pretty damn smart.

Personally I view everyone as a genius in a way. Why should I use a set of numbers to judge who is knowledgeable? Just because this person can't do math or sucks at grammar doesn't make them an idiot. Overall, I guess a good example would be one that was given to me while we were learning about part writing, frequently, by my music theory instructor; which is along the lines of "Beethoven or Mozart would fail some parts of these tests."

I guess what I am trying to say is that, 'A real genius carves his own path.'

Well, I am definitely more of a person who is aligned to abstract concepts over concrete ones, I enjoy things that have multiple interpretations and viewpoints. Art and history, english and literature. I however for the life of me cannot understand many mathematical concepts because they're so concrete. Science is a manageable subject because it only contains elements of math as supposed to math itself which simply baffles me. It's the subject that I am currently struggling to complete in order to leave school once and for all, while i'm excelling in everything else.

People are so quick to gauge math skills as the main sort of intelligence, and while earlier math concepts were something I could easily wrap my head around, high school mathematics are literally killing me. There are multiple forms of intelligence and yet few people can be considered "geniuses" without mathematical talent. It just seems biased to me as someone who has a flair for writing and abstract concepts who has a very good memory, but can't for the life of her remember how to complete a geometric proof, that math excellence is valued as a higher form of intelligence over all others.

As much as mathematics are important and define many formerly unsolved things. Force, Gravity, etc. Without the creatives of the world where would our imaginations be, and what would we be doing? Witholy the intelligence of writers and producers, who script television, the artistic talents who paint stunning artworks and the animators who bring characters in anime to life in rich, vivid movement… without all the talented individuals who are able to act whether using merely their voice, their body, or both… where would culture be. Math is just such a boring little confined box to me, even if it defines many things that have become confirmed theory. I love creative people because they bring flair to the world.

I got 142.

I took a legit IQ test when I was very young. I spoke gibberish when I was younger and no one could really understand me. My parents took me to a speech therapist and at some point in that process they had me tested. I don't remeber what the actual score was but it was somewhere in the gifted range. Of course I was like four or five at the time.

I hated geometric proof, I sucked at them and believe that only a small niche of people would ever have use of it. Now that I think of it, the only reason I ever enjoyed math was because it had a calming effect (all the focus I had to put into it was almost meditative). I guess math is valued the most since it plays a big part in understanding our universe, which in turn is the big thing about philosophy (which in turn played a big part in public education ...).

From wiki

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_quotient‎

When current IQ tests are developed, the median raw score of the norming sample is defined as IQ 100 and scores each standard deviation (SD) up or down are defined as 15 IQ points greater or less, although this was not always so historically. By this definition, approximately two-thirds of the population scores an IQ between 85 and 115, and about 5 percent of the population scores above 125.

I took 2 as a child. The first one was 136 when I was 8 and 138 when I was 12. Meh.

I got 128.

On an actual test I'd probably do pretty badly though >_> I know I'm smart, I've just never tested well.

They need to keep recentering the distributions of these things. There's this whole thing about IQ drift where people now score significantly higher than people back then. It was originally designed for ten year olds too.

The whole thing is silly really.

128. Better than I thought I would get. Now if I got higher maybe I can begin my plans for world domination...
