I'm starting to think it is an iOS issue. I am currently experiencing this on my Ipad air, apple tv, and iphone.

Have the same issue on iPad. Counter keeps going then eventually skips. However, PS3 is fine. Rewinding sometimes fixes it, sometimes does not.

Same problem as everyone else I'm using an Ipad Air video freezes then skips ahead a few seconds. Its been happening last few days. I thought it was my internet connection at first but Netflix and Hulu were worked just fine streaming 1080p. Have had no issues streaming crunchyroll on the roku app so I have to agree that its an ios issue.

I am having the same problem on apple TV. Seems to be sporatic, watched several episodes of a show this morning, no problem. then watched another show and every minute or so it would freeze. Please fix this as it makes the service unusable.

The problem seems to be getting worse for me. I am getting stalls quite frequently now and it is really impacting the service. I have a ticket in to crunchy roll but I haven't gotten a definitive response yet. I pinged them again this morning.

Hi, I started having this issue on my iPad mini after I updated the app. Had been fine before, and now can't get though a single episode without the video stalling. Audio will sometimes keep going, but the picture is stuck! App reinstall did not help. Same thing on my Apple TV

Yes, I think this is something that is AppleTV/iOS specific. I happen to have access to a PS4 and last night when I was having so many problems with the AppleTV and crunchy roll, I connected the PS4 and installed the crunchy roll app on it. It played episodes without any problems and this is the exact same internet connection (and presumably servers) used by the AppleTV. I suspect this is a problem with the iOS/AppleTV crunchy roll client software.

Same problem as everyone else here. Stream would stop but timer would continue to roll and just skip ahead and resume. Back tracking does not help as it would just get stuck on the exact same spot. Ive noticed also the timer is wrong when this occurs by a good min or so. Tapping done and restarting seems to be the only way to fix it. Frequency for me is sometimes once per episode to complety unwatchable.

The issue is real and annoying. More annoying is that Crunchyroll does not respond to people's complaint. They just keep theirs heads below the ground as if nothing is happening.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one having this problem. I've been missing about a quarter of each show on my IPad with 8.3, But I go back and watch on Roku with no problem. Come on Crunchy, at least respond!

This problem is getting ridiculous. I've been having an issue with both of my AppleTvs at my house for 3 weeks. I contacted them 2 weeks ago, they asked me to send some information about my internet connection and they have still not gotten back to me. I had to file another complaint again last night. What is the point of paying for premium if I can't even watch a freaking show? The video has been stopping for me at least 4 times a show. I can't even keep with the plot of an episode cause of all of these dam interruptions.

I've also sent in some connection info just now -- internet speed and ping results, mostly, along with a traceroute. Right now the problem seems to have changed at least a little -- I'm now getting many short gaps of ten seconds or so, though I just hit a longer one too.

Anyone in this thread (or the other one discussing the same issue) who hasn't sent in a ticket probably should -- with all the information they get from us, maybe they'll be able to identify a common problem, or maybe they'll see enough variety in us that they'll confirm the problem is definitely on their own end and search harder to find it. Either way, it'll help.

i have the same problem, have reset everything, and am getting increasingly pissed. I was halfway through Your Lie In April but have started watching on frigging Hulu because the ads are preferable to the freezes and resets.

I'll send in a ticket like PenguinZero suggested.
