Do you think a human deserves to die if they've done a crime that is considered inhuman?
I think the person would need to do something that is just beyond crazy
Example: Hitler.

Depends on the crime and the severity. There are a few crimes i'd find worthy of a death penalty. There are multiple kinds of death penalties as well, which also should relate on the crimes committed.

I'm going to pretend my heart's in the right place while sitting on the fence and say it should be reserved for the most extreme of criminals, the most heinous acts. Average murderer on the street? Nope. Pol Pot? Dead.

Also, it should be strictly withheld from anyone who may be seen as a martyr. For example: Adolf Hitler? Hang him. Some terrorist who blew up a school? Let him rot and don't give him and his ilk the satisfaction. No virgins or paradise for you, asshole.

I think the Death penalty is not given often enough.
Why clutter countless prisons with scum who only will end up bringing misfortune to decent folks once they get released.
Even if they would have been rehabilitated and could live a decent live after prison i ask what right do they have after they already destroyed the lives of people in the first place.
First murder/rape you commit should earn you the Death Penalty tried to rape/murder someone but failed well still deserve the Death penalty.
All other crimes should be based an repeated offenses based on severity.
i don't think that being imprisoned for years waiting for the sentenced to be carried out is the right way to do it tho.
As soon as there is no doubt left at all kill them and use the tax payers money for things that do matter instead of wasting it on animals in cages.

I'm pro-life, so I oppose the death penalty. Put their ass to work in manufacturing so law-abiding citizens can benefit from their ass.

If i had my way, i'd kill off half the prisoners in right now. I'd go light yagami on dem beetches.

Edit: Of course, if there was 0% chance of them being innocent. I know that not everyone in prison is guilty of their accused crime(s).
At the same time, those with severe crimes against humanity need to die. Survival of the fittest, smartest, and reasonable.

Those who have psychological problems and do crazy sht, they can die too. Who can prove without a shadow of a doubt that someone is crazy and not a damn good actor? (nobody) Menace's to society and they deserve the ol' chopping block. (metaphor)

Whatever the criminal does, do it to them. If they kill, kill them. If they rape, rape them. ECT. Well that's how it's suppose to be anyway. I believe if you kill, rape, or molest then you should be killed no matter what. Pedophiles, Necrophilias and people who commit beastility should also be killed.

WAS going to complain about your answer. Then I saw your solution involved manual labor and having them not live off the tax payer tit the rest of their lives. So bravo sir, I agree!

It shouldn't take 10 plus year to carry out a sentence. The victim or victims families deserve closer. If these people on death row were good they wouldn't have done the crime in the first place. Is our justice system perfect no but everyone gets a trial by jury and even if they lose they get a chance to appeal.
Yes I been mad at other people who did me wrong but I know better than to kill out of jealousy, or some other petty reason. I can't stand when other people bring up the criminal past. He/She had a rough life, had no guidance, was an addict. Everyone knows right from wrong if I choose to break into someone home that person would have every right to shoot me. The home owner shouldn't have to give me a warning that i'm breaking the law by being in his home without permission.

Make the death penalty simpler if people don't want them to suffer make the chems easier for the prisons to get or have the government make the chems and distribute them out to the prisons.

At least in U.S the justice system is not reliable enough or for that matter actually fair enough to allow it. Forged crime lab results and prosecutors hiding exculpatory evidence to name few reasonably recent incidents.
The statistics bear out the above, minority defendants and those who can't afford good representation get death penalty
at a higher rate.
Also the lack of transparency about who they are getting their drugs from is very concerning, given a few botched executions.
The alternatives some states have like the electric chair and gas chamber are absolutely barbaric.

Because of requirements for death penalty cases etc it actually cost more to execute someone than hold them for life.

I think the death penalty is good example of government overreach. It's a fine tool for tyrants and despots, but has no place in civilized society.

I'd never thought of this, it seems like the best answer. The problem with the death penalty is that if you support it and an innocent person is convicted of a crime they didn't commit and killed, which does happen, that person's life is on you.
