So for anybody that has been reading gangsta, apparently an anime adaption is gonna be made. Normally i would be happy for any adaption, but i think gangsta is a special exception mainly due to characters using sign language on a regular basis. Of course the issue is mainly a problem for Nicholas considering he almost always communicates through sign language. Also when he speaks aloud the text is all jagged, which makes me assume that his speech is sloppy.

What are your thoughts on this, do you think this could be done properly? Do you think the voice actors create sloppy speech without making it sound terrible?

i'm really excited actually. I've read the manga and tbh I've gotten lost because of all the characters and crazy stuff going on. I think an anime would help clarify my confusion -- if they adapt it well -- because in the beginning I really enjoyed the manga and the characters.

I have faith in the VA. Actors are trained to speak outside of their norm. We will see what happens. ^^

I'm looking forward to it. And I hope the anime will do justice to the level of action we get in the manga.

As for sign language, it would need to be subtitled anyway. While we probably won't get jagged text, if they make Nick's language seem rough, it will do well enough for me.

Some of the characters are all over the place but overall has well thought out plot so far and the premise is very interesting. I've read about 33+ chapters or so and it hasn't been disappointing yet. Just hope they don't censor since the manga does have mature themes and the violence isn't shy to use some gore. (not as big as some horror series though)
