How come in most manga/anime the male MC always has problems with the rides. Then they get sick or have to rest afterwards. Yet, the females all seem to be just fine and wanting to get on more rides. It's really weird to me.

Feminism.

I know that is odd. I think gender isn't a factor so much as how scary the rides actually are and how many times a person has rode them, and the rider's personality and disposition when they ride it.

It may depend on the anime and how the show is attempting to portray the MC. From what I see in anime where the male MC is having trouble with an amusement park is not necessarily because of the ride, but because of the perception that the male MC is on a date (with someone that they are actively interested in), in public, sharing a seat in a ride that forces two people to be very close. The same can be said of when you switch out the male MC and in his place, put a female MC.

Is there a particular anime/manga that you are referring to?

I'm watching Koi Kaze right now and it was in the first episode. But, I have seen it in many, many other anime.

You should look up "Kido Tsubomi". She does not like roller-coasters, or scary things. ^^
