Your experiences with mean people?
Posted 1/23/15 , edited 1/23/15
As I said before, you can rant as much as you like. I don't care. So what are some of your experiences with mean people?

EDIT: I took the original story down because apparently it was offending and confusing people. Sorry guys.

So basically this 15 year old kid was flirting with me and it turned into insults very quickly, so I got mad at him. The end.

When this old man came into my store and was blunt about his order. We don't usually give our customers the receipt, but he straight up demanded one. Five minutes later, he returned with an eaten donut that he bought from us and asked for a return of money. Assholes.. yeah

The first one I can think of is when this guy and his friend on my bus were flirting with me. Only they were flirting with all of the girls around them. And the flirting turned into insults pretty quickly. "What's her name?" "It's Olivia." "Olivia... Sup Olivia!" "Hey Olivia, I love you!" Then they started to flirt with all of the other girls around me. Pretty soon after, his friend said "Hey, my friend likes you." I simply laughed and replied "If you knew me, you wouldn't want to date me." And they left me alone for a little while. A little while later his friend asks me why I don't talk on the bus. Starting to get annoyed, I tell him it's because people like him get on my nerves. Then he asks this 13 year old girl out. And guess what? He's fifteen. And in the 8th grade. And he has a girlfriend. Also this kid was out of my age range to be flirting with me afterall. A little while later, one of them says "What's wrong with that girl..." He then proceeds to ask me if I take medicine while muttering about how ugly I am. I tell him that's very rude and it was none of his business. Later on he drones on about he loves girls with brown hair. I say "Well, I don't like 15 year-old D-bags who have girlfriends." And by that time, it was time for me to get off the bus. As I leave he complains about how I didn't talk enough on the bus.

Well done, bravo! You are so very right to call them d-bags...wow...

I was having a very long day, okay? I get treated like that by guys on a daily basis, and I honestly don't know why. So I'd had enough. I'm sorry. And if I had responded maturely, they probably wouldn't have taken me seriously anyways. Most of the people at my school are very immature.

Your response to it was actually less than what they probably deserved actually. I remember the kids on the bus when I went to school and most of them deserved to get hit in the face with the kind of crap they pulled with the girls. Your response definitely wasn't immature IMO.

As for my own contribution to the thread.... I've dealt with far too many mean people for any one specific event to stick out and discussing multiple events isn't something I am interested in right now.

I use to work for the TSA, that was the most I've ever been insulted in my life, too many to mention. I understand not wanting to go through all that bull shit just to get on a plane, but taking it out on the guy who obviously is at the lowest end of the spectrum isn't going to change anything you know? I've been called fascist, pig, faggot, asshole... etc. A TSA dude has very little if any power beyond a stupid checkpoint, they aren't cops.

There are lots of rude people who I encountered but I always meet mean or rude people when I go out so it is pretty inevitable so I guess that's why I don't leave my house too often -_-;
