That doesn't bother me. In fact you have it backwards. I'm not the one bothered by what someone says, I'm the one saying it. If it's invalid, it fucking is invalid, and I don't use those rather abundant memes (maybe I should )

There is no cure for ignorance. State the facts and if they can't understand, then move along. No use wasting your breath on those who have no desire to reach beyond their own deluded existence.

Invalid arguments versus pointless discussions.

This is like talking to most of my relatives . . . that's why I usually don't.

People hate being wrong, and losing. Especially over the internet. They have no chill.

OR, they like to argue, just for the soul purpose of arguing. //shrug.

If you are to ignorant to understand a topic that is more complex than what color nail polish you should wear tomorrow. Than by all means go away, leave topics and discussions on more complex subject's to those that can think above the one's baser needs.

I see enough topics on the GF for low brow buffoons, that is why I sorely miss the ED where more advance officials may debate topics of more complex ideals and breakthroughs.

I watch for both. Sometimes I want something complex, sometimes something lowbrow.

On both sides I have to reiterate that you choose what topics to post about and which topics to start. It's kind of the equivalent to complaining of boredom when you complain about what topics are listed on the site. (because, after all, we do have dedicated groups of people who njoy one of the other).

Neither one is better than the other overall, they're both equally annoying at times. I don't mind a silly thread so long as its intended to be a silly thread an OP isn't pushing it as gospel/ those ppl are worse imo than a dull, yet merited DC. It has to either be for fun or to be taken seriously, not silly but not fun AND to be taken seriously. Really a serious thread that is full of egotiscical nonsense and bragging is far worse than a light-hearted waste of time, at least in the latter everyone gets to participate and its not an ego dick measuring contest.

Lose an argument? How does that happen?
