HAKIR INDULEHENSIYA
Hakir didn't have the luxury of stopping the collision by the rules of time in this planet, but he did have the power to stop the time for few meaningful seconds, casting the spell silently, as he let go of the cart to prevent on hurting himself. He let the cart crash loudly at the products, before turning to the woman, who he knew certainly did use magic, and he silently cast a spell to isolate them from other creatures, creating a barrier that surrounded, engulfing them to dimensional dome, where Hakir reverts back to his normal clothes, his marks showing as his eyes glowed, his staff on hand, narrowing his eyes at the magic user.

"Who summoned you in this dimension, woman?" He coldly asked in his native tongue, than no one outside his planet could understand it, for it is considered as 'The Lost Language' by humans, "Answer me truthfully or I will kill you. Which one of the races summoned you here? Nephilim? Chimaera? Elves? Runes? Come on, speak!"

The background started to erode, as shadowed creatures appeared from the eroded background, standing behind their master while malicious grins plastered on their faces, while Hakir's marks are visibly glowing, red as blood would and hot as fire. He looked like he's going to ignite soon.

As soon as her surroundings changed Nuria dropped the bottle of spices and pulled out her athame from inside her boot. Taking in all the changes, she also noticed her other hand held a familiar broom, a small black pointed hat sat on top of her head and her attire resembled that of colonial spanish commoners clothes. Seeing him change as well made her realized she was in a dimension that reveals the truth, she knew he was a magic user...but not one of this magnitude. He'd notice her eyes glowed green, her red hair (now down) shone like fire, and her skin was inhumanly iridescent. Nuria heard and saw him speaking but didn't know the language, and with those monsters suddenly appearing she could only assume one thing, he was using a summoning spell. So with her knife she cut her hand and circled herself with it whilst uttering in Latin, she cast a protection spell upon herself. A transparent light gray barrier came around her then, making a cone-like shape. "How is it that we are in this dimension?"

HAKIR INDULEHENSIYA
The malicious being started to shout 'aye aye' with gleeful shrieks and laugh, all until Hakir spared them a glance, only did they back down and looked at him ruefully, forming a battalion behind him, as Hakir looks at him with still narrowed eyes, sharp, almost akin to a snake. He realized that she might be a foreigner from their world but that doesn't mean he could trust her.

"Answer my questions first." He tells her, tapping his staff on the ground, "Who summoned you in this dimension, woman? Which of the races summoned you here?"

The malicious being dispersed and started morphing into two giant snakes, black and white, slithering all over the place, their beady eyes watching both of the magic users from a distance.

The beings did not scare her and her eyes didn't stray from his, "I did. A Dark Witch of Earth." Then she pointed at him nonchalantly with her athame, "And you are???"

HAKIR INDULEHENSIYA
He looked into her eyes, staring at her for a moment, detecting any hint of lies. He found none. He lowers his gaze and start mumbling to himself.

"Dark Witch?" Hakir mutters under his breath, confused. "Why would they...? I don't get it, I thought they are mere legends, this world is ruled by its logic and reason."

He looks at her again, "I'm a Sorcerer, a soldier from the Great War." He replies, making his staff disappear with the flick of a wrist.

"To answer your prior question," he starts, walking towards her calmly, as if there is no barrier protecting her. He did, of course, stopped before it, encircling the witch, "I created this dimension. All ought to know how to make one; after all, this is a basic skill for beings like us. If you truly have the connection with the Creators, you would know how to." He explains with no malice in his voice, no mockery. Just plain tone, the one you use for speeches. Hakir stops walking, his back facing her, "but then, you are an outsider. How is it that your kind exist in this silly world? I thought logic and reason only exists here, hence the vast diminishing of magical powers when stumbled upon this planet, universe rather."

AERITH THE HANGED MAN // HYPERION ALTAIR
"Ooh, the new ARC-4 just came out," Natalia said to herself, her mouth full of chips and a magazine in her hands. She brushed crumbs from her chips onto her baggy-indian pants, and happily read on the article. She was thinking of hitting the video game store right after reading and bookmarking the article of High-Tec+. Her family must be annoyed of getting this subscription so often. She chuckled at the thought.

Carrying some shopping bags, Casey walked down the concrete path, an unlit cigarette etched into his mouth. Casey plopped down next to someone on the park bench, readying to light his cigarette. He glanced over at the person. It was a girl, reading a magazine. She looked out of place compared to everyone else. He peeked over curiously at the magazine subscription. Taking a drag of his cigarette, he got comfortable.

AERITH THE HANGED MAN // HYPERION ALTAIR
Natalia tensed up, side-glancing at the stranger. She decided to ignore him, figuring he sought comfort. She couldn't see any other park bench around.

Minding her own business, she noticed the man peeking at her magazine. She self consciously turned it down on its back, and folded her arms across her chest, pretending she was done reading it. When in fact, she was in the middle of an interesting article about new prototype RC beds! The future is here, and she can't read it because she was too embarrassed of the stranger wondering what she was reading. Natalia beat herself up in her own head.

( Sorry for the late reply; I didn't even see this until now. ;A; must've got lost in my notifications... as usual. )

(Bet you can guess why MY reply is so late... -_-)

Casey noticed her embarrassed gesture. "Sorry," He muttered while quickly looking away at another object. "That's some interesting stuff you're reading," He said. "RC controlled beds, can you imagine?" Wouldn't want anything else to get awkward... "They really should invest in more benches in this damn place," He quickly changed the subject after a few minutes. He was originally supposed to be on duty but the shopping district wasn't as busy today. Shoplifters weren't very likely, either. Good thing there were other patrols in other sectors, or Casey would claw his eyes out having to listen to the pop music that played overhead or the strange conversations of other people. He also couldn't stand the smell of the food court. It was nauseating.

AERITH THE HANGED MAN // HYPERION ALTAIR
"Well, they've already invented them," Natalia said, not really meant to sound pretentious while side-glancing at the man again. "They're just becoming more advanced."

Natalia hummed in agreement. "Yeah. So people don't creep on you and try to peek over your shoulder instead of minding their own business." She didn't intend it to sound so serious. She was teasing the man, but the humor was lost in her emotionless tone. It just sounded like a snarky remark up at this point. Natalia froze, her shoulders tensed up and her lips pursed. She let out a stiff laugh, perhaps in an attempt to let the man known she was joking.

(same tho, god damn it)

The broad gentlemen raised an eyebrow at her pretentious behavior. Whether she intended it or not, Casey took it that way. He smirked as she let out a stiff laugh that Casey mistook as forced, or perhaps it was sarcastic? Either way, Casey wanted to poke more fun at the silver haired girl.

"My bad," he grunted. "I didn't know I was in the presence of a young genius who knows everything." He folded his arms across his chest, awaiting the retaliation.

"No. My bad," Natalia began to retaliate. She was about to think twice for what she was about to say, but her words flowed out anyway. "I didn't know I was in the presence of a grumpy old fart who shames the found intellect of young people." She smirked, staring ahead of her, but on the inside she was yelling at herself. You are just asking for trouble, Natalia! She scolded herself.

Curse my sarcastic mouth.

Instead of reactive negatively Casey smirked, turning his head and torso to look at Natalia. He chuckled darkly. "You have quite the mouth." He commented. "All right," he sighed, dropping his hands to his knees. "I apologize for insulting your intelligence." He shook his head. "How would you react if I told you I was a police officer?" He said. He wanted to see how she would rationally react. Or irrationally.

AERITH THE HANGED MAN // HYPERION ALTAIR
Nodding at his apology, Natalia's heart dropped at that mention of his affiliation with the police, but on the outside she remained calm. She shrugged, throwing her arms over her head to stretch. "Is that meant to scare me?" She scoffed. She faced him just as he was facing her, cold honey eyes staring back into his.

"I'm not doing anything wrong. Past and present tense." She said simply while looking him dead in the eye. She was rather irritated, but at the same time, afraid. If he finds out I'm affiliated with a gang, it could mean trouble.

"You're the one harassing a minor." Natalia smirked.

Natalia, you idiot...! She scolded herself.

Casey's face turned beet red. "You've got it all twisted. You're the one turning this back on me!" He said quickly, losing his temper a bit. Natalia's intense stare didn't help anything either. He looked away, fists closing up. He brought them to his knees, gritting his teeth. He glanced at her, his face still red. "You're one resentful kid," He grumbled. He picked up his shopping bags, and pulled out a pack of donuts, and tossed it to her. "I admire your boldness, though," He said, his anger still allowing his fluster to show. He stood up, putting his hands in his pockets. "You remind me of someone I knew," He commented.
