The students looked at Saki surprised, as they noticed he was a teacher at their school. Their looks turned from anger to shock and then to fear, as they dropped the hair dye and scrambled out of the cafe. Sai fell to his knees once they let him go, as he shook, holding his arms tight. His head dropped as he sniffled, crying softly.

Saki watched the students run out of the cafe with a sharp glare. However, his stern expression quickly changed when he heard Sai fall to his knees. The man quickly rushed to his side. "Are you okay? Hey... it's alright. They won't hurt you anymore," He spoke comforting words to try and calm the boy down.
A glance around, Saki noticed the commotion that happened attracted quite a few pair of eyes. Taking out a bill from his pocket, he placed it on the table and turned back to Sai. "Let's go somewhere where there's less people, okay? You can talk to me about it once we're there."

Sai nodded, slowly getting up, hiding his face with his jacket, as tears kept falling. He held his head down low, his eyes glistening with tears. His hair was still pink as ever, causing him to stand out more. His pale skin glowed in the light of day, and his frail, skinny body suggested he wasn't eating very well. He followed Saki out of the cafe, sticking close to him.

Once out of the cafe, Saki led the boy to a nearby park and sat him on a bench. Once settled down, he pulled out a packet of tissues from his pocket and handed it to Sai. "Here."
Taking a closer look at him, it was clear that something was wrong with everything revolving around this boy. Saki instinctively started to worry more about him. "I'll listen to whatever you have to say," he says and sits next to the boy. "Tell me anything you feel like saying. I won't force you to talk... but it's always nice having a listener, yknow."

Sai looked at the tissues, and took them, blowing his nose. He sniffled, as he interlocked his hands, looking to the ground. "It's fine.. I'll tell you everything." He muttered, as he took a breath of air before beginning his story. ".. when I was a little boy, my father died a few years after my birth. It was very hard on my mother, but we got through it. One day, my mother brought a stranger home, and took him to her room." Sai hesitated before going on, ".. I .. I saw them doing things in her bedroom. That was when I lost my interest in women.. and became gay. My mother was obviously aware of it because I was constantly afraid of getting close to a female." He said, balling his fists. "Kids bully me for my hair color and the fact that i'm gay. Those kids were one of the many gangs that have bullied me.." Sai started tearing up, signaling his story had came to a close.

Carefully listening to his story, the teacher made sure that the expression on his face did not show anything that would make the boy uncomfortable. His reactions were kept in his mind alone.
"... I see," Saki let out once his story was over, he gently pat Sai's back. "You did good in telling me. As little as I can do, I'll support you in any right step you take concerning this matter... you need to know, though, that this problem won't go away on it's own."
"Does your mother know what's happening outside of the house?"

Sai shook his head, "No... i'm too afraid to even approach her, and she is rarely home anyway.." He muttered, shaking slightly. "I-I can't even imagine what would happen if she knew what kids were doing to me.." He added, looking at the ground, a wave of pain across his face.

"Sai..." Saki spoke softly, wiping the tears from Sai's eyes. "... I'm ill suited to say anything about this topic, but... I really think you should speak to your mother about this. If anything goes wrong, then you can come to me. I can't speak to your mother for you since this is really about you, not me." Raising his eyes away from the boy, Saki spotted an ice cream stand nearby. "Oh hey. Do you want some?" He asked, it-- seemed like a good time for... ice cream. Cheer up the mood a up.

Sai just stared at Saki and then to the ice cream stand. "... you must be pretty big on sweets, huh, Saki?" He said, and started to giggle. "Yeah sure, i'll have some." He replied, smiling to Saki.

"Mm, something like that," the man chuckled and got up. "I'll go buy some right away, then. My treat." He placed a finger to his lips. "Don't tell the other students though, they might get jealous."
The man walked off to the ice cream stand and returned around 5 minutes later with ice cream. "Ta-daaah~"
He handed one to Sai. "Here you go." Before sitting back down next to him.

Sai took the ice cream happily, giggling. "Saki, you're so.. energetic!" He claimed, as he licked his ice cream. Sai started swaying his legs back and forth, humming a song like a little kid. "Hm hm hm hm ~" After awhile, he finished up his ice cream, and looked at Saki curiously. "Saki.. all we've been talking about is me. How about you tell me something about yourself?"

"I have to get rid of this energy some way or another!" Saki smiled, the return of the boy's joy was enough to lift the weight of the conversation that they had moments ago. For now, they were enjoying their ice cream.
The man couldn't help but chuckle at the boy's childish behavior. He seemed really happy and that was enough to make the teacher smile as well. Once done with their treat, Saki was intrigued by Sai's question. "Something about myself? Uhh... like what? What do you want to know?"

Sai was at a loss for words, "Uh.. well. I guess, for starters.. maybe why you're interested in art?" He asked, looking at Saki full of curiosity. He simply had to know why Saki was an art teacher, and how art had moved him. As Sai was looking at Saki, his eyes were almost sparkling with wanting to know about Saki.

"Hm, well let's see..." Saki brought a hand to his chin as he thought about his question. "How do I resume this in a sentence or two.... well for starters, if it wasn't for art I probably wouldn't be the person today," the man said, scratching his cheek. "I've had my own rough times and art was there for me when other means weren't. I would draw and sew my day away all the time before-- I barely spoke to anyone or had any interest in anyone either."
A soft smile was stretched on Saki's lips, his eyes closed reminiscing of memories. "If it wasn't for art, I wouldn't of been able to speak to anyone. To learn about people and to want to know more about them." After his speech, Saki felt a little embarrassed as his little story made him a little more emotional than he thought. "Aaaannd then I wanted to become a teacher."

Sai's eyes lit up with interest as he listened to his story. After Saki was done speaking, he simply sat there, at a loss for words. "Thats... thats just amazing!" He stated, which was the only thing he could actually think to say. "I guess art has saved you. That kinda sounds cool!" Sai smiled big, as he was filled with happiness.
