Thoughts?

All from this website http://www.kitguru.net/gaming/anton-shilov/first-images-of-playstation-4-slim-monolith-get-published/

I think it looks pretty good, would happily buy one of those!

No idea if it's legit but it could be similar design to the current model.

PS: I realise I spealt "supposedly" wrong but I can't change that =P

Ugh... if this is real i'm gonna be pretty upset. My friends basically forced me to get a PS4 and I knew a slim edition would come out eventually and it would probably be cheaper. Not to mention there aren't even many games out for PS4 yet. Should have waited.

Yeh, but when it comes to technology there's alwasy the "Should I shouldn't I wait for 6 months" new tech and refreshes come around so often eventually you may as well just get it.

If that's legit I'm totally buying.

I held off on buying a PS4 as there aren't any games on the console that I want, but that will very likely change once Batman: Arkham Knight comes out.

Looks legit.

Perhaps the slim edition will come with a 1 TB hard-drive.

I saw this about a week ago, it doesn't look very legitimate, and even if it was I think its ugly and I would stick with the original PS4.

It's not like the regular PS4 is very large to begin with so this doesn't bother me that I just bought one 2 weeks ago. It's doesnt seem as big of a change as PS2 -> PS2 Slim or PS3 -> PS3 Slim.

Ever since PS2, I've always gotten the slim versions of PlayStation models. PS2 Slim, PSP-2000, PS3 Slim (320GB), PS Vita Slim (Borderlands 2 Edition). Might wait for the slim PS4 (if ever) just to keep up with the tradition. If it doesn't get announced or released sometime this year, I'll get a PS4 anyway.

Is it needed though, really? I mean it's selling well now and PS4's seem pretty reliable, so no one would be thinking or replacing it for another 2-3 years.

Oh that's pretty cool, and much more slim than the original, but my console from launch still works fine, so no need to upgrade yet.

I always thought the original PS4 looked like a panini press... Liking the slim though!

I would pay an extra $50 if it meant my PS4 could double as a Panini Press.

I think the current model is pretty slim enough though. If anything, it should come with a larger HD but one can just swap it out if they like.
