Execute anyone and everyone who claims to be an "Islamist" seeing as what they CHOOSE to believe is that anyone who isn't them, is the enemy, and i'm not them, and you kill enemies, simple.

WTF? Do you really think all Islamic people are terrorists? Why not kill all the jews now? Or the christians? What about the atheists? You know what? Why not kill every single person in the world?

I believe that violence can be a solution in some cases. However not the brutal violence you are thinking about.

Nuke them? Who's them? What do they look like? How does a member of ISIS look like!? This is ridiculous! You're ridiculous.

Do you not think that ISIS has innocent people at their camps? You're going to kill them as well? How does that make you better than them? God, there's so many stupid people on this planet.

America needs to educate you better OP.

how we get the Japanese to stop fighting? We nuked two of their cities, we did not target soldiers we hit them hard. Anyhow that is the point its a fear tactic used to get the people to get up and fight the ISIS, so we don't have to do shit. Maybe just nuke on of their known bases to show that we will do it. after that I am sure the people will stand and deal with ISIS them selves or they might have to deal with the awakening of the sleeping giant.

You hit them hard? Really? America never accomplished anything when they butt in anywhere. You've accomplished shit. Your opinions are far too narrow-minded, so I change my previous statement where I said "educate yourself". Seeing as you're 34, that ship has long sailed. Good bye.

You're sentence is really confusing. Let me ask you this though.

Did you know that Islam is the second largest religion in the world? How many muslims is that? So every one of them is an "islamist" that needs to be executed?

if every muslim was in fact a terrorist, wouldn't EVERY ONE OF US HAVE BEEN LONG GONE? You know, because they'd kill us all? Because you know, they're "terrorists"?

How many muslims do you pass by on a daily basis without being aware of it? I'm afraid to tell you that the image of muslims you have in your mind, is the very image the media has forged you to see and believe in.

No religion is perfect, and the members of ISIS aren't worthy of being called muslims. You're being too ignorant with your comment.

A primary point of emphasis for any approach I'd consider to be lasting and effective would be to interfere with their trade operations, money laundering networks, and communications. Of course, as should be painfully apparent at this point crushing an organization like ISIL will be far more complicated than simply stopping them in Syria and Iraq. They have sympathizers throughout the globe, and in the long term it will be important to ensure and enhance cooperation between international actors for the purposes of finding such people before they're able to act. It will also be important to not only put measures into place to substantially harm actors who aid and abet such organizations, but to also actively enforce those measures. Easier said than done, I know. But there's nothing easy about this no matter what direction one goes.

What I do not think will help, however, is tossing firearms and training into the hands of other rebel factions over which no one has solid control and conducting an air war with growing signs of mission creep in Syria and Iraq. One major thing to focus on instead would be cutting off illicit trade of Syrian oil in Turkey. Another would be to pursue ISIL's slave trading networks viciously. Finally, keeping tabs on any funding, logistical, or communications networks they might establish later on and determining the optimal way to interrupt them would be a long-term objective.

To be fair, there are differences between "Islamists" and regular Muslims, though the term "Islamist" itself has no clear cut definition.

threatening an extremeist cult with nukes....yeah that will go over real well. never mind the small details like trying to target them.
sigh, if you do that, all you will end up doing is creating an even bigger ISIS.

ISIS exist for a lot of reasons, its a human reaction to a troubled part of the world.

I think the kurds are doing a fine job with what support we give them. No need to roll out the nukes or mass killings.

logically thinking we can't really deal with isis

-there are 7billions+ people in there world it would be nearly impossible to track down every isis member
-even if i did track down every isis member, they would probably have too much power that i wouldn't be able to control
-if we were to have peace with isis that would mean that we would also give up something even greater like possibly free the hostages
-but, there's no way we could make peace unless we join with them
-Plus they're terrorist so, of course they are going to have weapons, hostages, etc

Umm that is what I would do. With an military 12 times larger than any other in the world not like anyone would try to stop me with force.

I see you strangers like to pick apart what I said, mostly in jest. But you yet to be on topic. Maybe I need to underline the topic?? IT is what would you do!

So what would you do!
