Idk. I never watch television. Why would I wanna wait for a specific time once a week to watch anime when I could watch those same anime any time I want at my own convenience?

Isn't that exactly what everyone here does for certain shows?

Even back when I was using dial-up, I stopped watching Toonami when it stopped giving me new interesting shows and kept replaying old stuff. Today, well I get all my anime online on-demand so yeah.

I watched most of Avatar and nearly all of legend of Korra on airwaves, and that was less because of the time-slot and more to do with the fact that I actually wanted to watch a new episode air. I can only watch the same episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force soo many times.

This is distressing. Especially since I'm currently watching Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig and that is one of the show that are being cut. Does any one know if there is any LEGAL site that has GitS 2nd Gig so I can finish watching that series?

Not sure what is killing Toonami. But because of us watching a lot of animes on the internet, it has less attention.

For me the main reason is that i don't like their English dub versions
i like it better with subs and why wait for one week when i have CRUNCHYROLL
and i could just connect my laptop to my TV with a freaking HDMI cable jaja

I, again, have to question this attitude of "Why wait a week?" when that's exactly what everyone here does when watching shows that are simulcasting. :|

well for me, i dont have tv. when i did, i never really planned to watch anything. it was just crusing.

but simulacast, now thats something i love here on CR. i feel like im part of a community all eager for the same thing. i never felt like that for tv.

and there is not much anime on tv anyways. a few shows here and there, not like CR, hulu, or even netflix or the other one.

There is a difference between tuning in to watch something new (Not to mention they can watch the show at any other time after it has aired at their own convenience). It's not really the same thing as tuning in late at night once a week for a show that they've most likely already seen.

What's old to some is new to others. Just because you've seen it doesn't mean everyone else has. Especially when some of said shows aren't available via streaming.

I work night-shift as a dispatcher and well... I'm saddened that Toonami has been cut down. It's an inconvenience to most, but the air time wasn't bad for my schedule. I still agree with most users, though. It'd be great if it were on sooner/longer.

There arent very many comedies to round out the entertainment block which causes it to be very one note and dull. Its also a lot of battle shonen which isnt for everyone maybe
