I don't like the idea of people being discouraged from completely trusting the person they should trust the most.
I've seen both sides of this and I can say for a fact that when you really love someone, you don't need them to love you in return.
It hurts to not be on the receiving end, but you don't need to be loved to love someone because it's not about getting an even piece of the pie.
You should be willing to give up everything and I think there's something really beautiful about that.

At least I believe I know what it is to "love" My ideas on the subject have changed to the more extreme emotive side of the spectrum lately instead of being another label for obsession.

After reading all the comments, I don't know understand what's the question. I know it's about true love and how it's completely different from attraction. I believe love is something more complicated then it can be describe and it doesn't have to do with beauty but personal attraction. I as person do get nervous around attracted people but I don't show it. I believe most people do react nervous to attract people but they don't show it as often and once you meet the "your soulmate" your tend to act like a different person completely. Why? That's question I don't know, I guess it dependents on the personal attractions.

However, I actually can't tell you anything else because I never been in real relationship or been in love. I know what's lead to love but it depend on your personal attraction mostly.

I'm like that with my friends It's not that I'm insecure (I think) or that I think they're perfect, I just really admire them and value the friendship to the utmost degree. But I digress, this thread is about romantic love...
