Any chance of more ways to see when a show is about to expire or expired on here? So it doesn't get mixed up with the cluster of people bumping old site news? EG apps and stuff.

One show I had in my queue has vanished. "Tantei Opera Milky Holmes http://www.crunchyroll.com/tantei-opera-milky-holmes " I have checked on google/marathon time recent posts/site news but I couldn't actually see when it was removed. (if it was actually meant too be.)

Any chance you could move "marathon time" type posts out of "site news" and move them into another category so members can actually see when shows are about to be removed or when they where in the forum. If they are missed on the site news front page.

Maybe have a forum category "Sad Site News" under general for the Marathon time style posts.

Or having them in site news for the X days countdown and then move them into "Sad Site News" as a archive once the show is gone?

:)

I was wondering about this too. It doesn't appear in my app queues; however, on the website show landing page, there is a 'remove' button, which, despite a total of 0 videos available, suggests that it is still in the queue.

This is weird. I didn't ever see a notice for it coming down either, and I keep a pretty close watch on the site news section to keep Rotten Sushi up to date...For sure it was still there last July when I started collecting show data, or I wouldn't have included it.

The last review on the show page by someone was in October of last year, and coincidentally there was a marathon announcement of several other shows right about that time: /forumtopic-864201/marathon-time

What's odd about that notice is that there are three separate links for Haruhi Suzumiya in the list of removals that all go to the same page. I wonder if it was an omission, or even a paste typo at the time where TOMH should have been included in the list, and no one has ever looked for the show for the past 3-4 months.

We may never know for sure, I guess. I can imagine that there are some non-disclosure agreements for licenses expiring or being acquired by someone else that require CR to say nothing and just remove it. They do usually try to tell us if they are allowed, as soon as they find out, but it happens that comes at short notice sometimes. For instance, they may have an "open" contract to keep a show up until someone else makes a new offer to the publisher or even to CR along with a non-disclosure clause. Business is business, after all.

Well I had a play on a web cache site. Which provided some helpful info.
Seems it was between September 11 and November 18th that it went bye bye.
I would have said I still had it in my queue in December. But I wont argue with the cache site.

I still think there should be another set of site news stuff. One being new shows and added apps the other being for a gone but not forgotten where site news about shows expiring goes or just older posts go to keep site news tidier.

The two related short form series were on the same page, so the links leading to the same page were no error.
