So, in the first three episodes of the second half of Aldnoah Zero they make several comments on how nobody can land a shot on the enemy because of the "wind". But, they're fighting in space. I'm definitely not a space expert, but since when is there wind in space? Is this an actual occurrence that I'm just unaware of or is it just creative liberties?

P.S. I'm not sure what category this topic fall under, so I just put it under Anime. If that was a mistake I apologize.

If you go to the Discussion boards for the show, there's already a 100 page-long argument about it.

EDIT: Here's the link to the Discussion Board. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-845897/aldnoah-zero-season-1-and-2-anticipation-and-discussion

Yeah you shouldn't try to take it seriously or you can just read this from someone ranting about it on reddit.

Thanks for the link. I'm pretty new, so I didn't realize each individual show had their own discussion boards. But now I do. Thanks again.

So basically, Gundam, Macross, and all the rest are more fantasy than they are sci-fi...Because what is happening in them is while not impossible, counterproductive.

There go my dreams of epic mech battles in space.

I'm just assuming Slaine's cockpit has an Aldnoahy light surrounding it keeping it at 1g now.

I was going to say that there's probably not wind in the traditional sense, but gravitational distortions, radiation waves, magnetic interference, etc that probably has some effect, *shrugs*

This is what I've been looking for. Something that sort of resembles wind in some aspect but is most definitely not wind, but is still called 'wind'.

And I'm just going to assume the mechs have some sort of sufficiently advanced technology (aldnoah) so that they don't have to deal with g forces.

or just go with the technology side and say "inertial dampeners"....

So we are are going to worry about bad physics in a show that ostensibly is about magic?
