Gimp.

not only is it free, it doesn't completely kill my system resources by simply loading. (not that PS necessarily does that, but it is INCREDIBLY resource heavy) Besides, I've been using it for a few years, and now I can do things a lot easier with Gimp.

for bulk image processing, I prefer photoscape. Also free, it's just nice to have a program that's quick and dirty for going through a crapload of images.

PS is definitely a system hog, it also has a tendency to hang or crash during operation, gimp less so in my experience.
that said since i pay for adobe CC for my video work i might as well work in the one i am used to, PS.
integration into other projects also become very easy under an all in one system, integration into another system outside of that is horrible.

for bulk editing lightroom and camera raw + bridge are both awesome, tried photoscape but i felt too limited.

I can respect that. Most of my stuff is web work, and generally is meant to be quick and dirty, with the images themselves only having a limited use or life to them, so the limiting factor isn't a huge ordeal.

I'm so used to PS, I tried GIMP but I still find PS to be preferable. I mean, the CS3 Suite i have on this laptop is a few years old, but it works very well.

Which of the 2 graphic editors you like best to edit your images?

Personally, I like both. But if I have to choose one, it's Gimp. Main reason is because it's free.

Of those two, I also use Gimp, because it's free, but I also don't do much image editing. For basics like cropping, resizing, and a few others things I actually love the Picture Viewer utility that used to come with Microsoft Office.

Also, please note I"ve moved this to the Polls forum--that's where all Poll topics go regardless of subject matter.

I've used both and I much prefer Photoshop. So much easier to use and can do a lot more. Plus making high-quality GIFs in PS is a breeze.

Bad thing about PS is its price >.> which is why there are other wayz to get it huhwat

I've been meaning to ask, why is this still the case? Prior to the big rearrange of forums, Polls was literally the only forum where polls could be made. It wasn't an option for any of the other spots. Now it is. Plus there was talk about opening polls up to other forums around the rearrange, which makes this "keep all polls in polls" bit confusing.

Not trying to start trouble, but what's going on?

I'm pretty sure you've always been able to create a poll in any forum (the "New Poll" button has been there in the upper right alongside "New Topic" for as long as I can remember)--it's just not been allowed.

The results of the poll about polls showed that most people prefer to have a single location for polls, and some legitimate concerns about allowing them to be mixed in anywhere, so for now we're sticking with the "polls belong in the Polls forum" policy.

Photoshop because it is vastly superior.

Agreed. I find myself using a photo of myself. Rarely do I use an avatar of something else.

GIMP! It takes less skill to use and is free! I still appreciate all of photoshop's features though
