We will speak again when the Dressrosa arc has ended in the Anime ... So probably around 2035

Ahh don't be like that man, they are actually....pretty from what I know pretty close to the manga right now...so it cant be helped. I would take slow pacing over fillers anyday.........NARUTO .

Also...if you watch episodes in bulk the pacing is actually like really good imo. Week to week....ehhh.

Flashback fillers are the best though.

Meh, it's 31 chapters right now, though mostly because Oda takes a break pretty much every other week these day. Last episode covered about half a chapter, so they got time to spare

Hey, I can skip filler episodes, if I were to skip all the filler One Piece has to offer, I would end up with an episode length that rivals Pupa

Yeah, you're right about that, I've actually been enjoying it much more since I decided to read ahead in the Manga and only watch it like once a month, skipping all the horribly slow parts, replayed footage and ten minutes of reaction shots every episode has to offer. That way I end up with one decently paced entertaining episode of One Piece every month, which I consider to be a win

One Piece may be on break every so often, but at least it doesn't have crazy hiatuses like HxH does

1. Hey man...that dude dedicates his life to One Piece, he's allowed his breaks. ....31 chapters dude is like....not a lot man.

2. Good! , we don't need them.

3. Ahh bro I think you're exaggerating a bit much there. . Yea it can be slow, but the anime does add in some parts that make the series more interesting imo. Besides the reaction faces and voice acting are the best though.

Generally speaking: no. But in One Piece terms that's enough episodes for a whole year
Also, I can only imagine how they'll drag out these recent chapters. Those have three episodes per chapter potential, at least

Me, exaggerating? Never!

Agree to disagree I guess. I'm just kind of sick of hearing the same piece of soundtrack every episode while twenty different people react to the only important thing that has happened this episode being replayed in slow motion. Every. Single. Time.

It if it makes it any better....I would absolutely LOVE it...if One Piece went to another studio. I said in this in the Tokyo Ghoul thread...but Madhouse or Production I.G. would be awesome for One Piece.

I can agree with that. Toei has been crap lately, haven't seen anything decent from them in years. Just look at poor World Trigger. It also just seems like they really don't put all that much effort into One Piece, which shows in the animation quality. They probably think that they can put on whatever they want, people will buy it just because it has the label One Piece on it and the worst part is, they're absolutely right

But wasn't this thread supposed to be about people's favourite One Piece arc?

The animation quality is fine, there's occasionally a noticeable drop in quality, but they always deliver on the major points. I wouldn't really say Madhouse would do a better job it could simply be a matter of art style that you're disappointed with not animation.
