Not especially, and I'm mostly just fond of the fantasy aspect. Other than favoring the existence of weak ghosts, I don't have an active belief. I'm open to the possibility of more, but I won't hold my breathe, or make a big fuss over other people favoring or disfavoring superstition. Unless they're being assholes about it, which would result in my temper flaring.

That includes your nostrils flaring up, right? Jk

You seem so chill in the forums. I can't imagine you loosing your temper.

No superstitions over here.

I constantly wish ghosts and such were real, for various reasons (that I don't wanna get banned for saying).

Alas, it was not meant to be. I'm not superstitious at all, because it wouldn't make sense for a ghost to suddenly jump out of my closet after however many years of nothing.

Necrophilia huh?

Damn it, I've been sorta-but-not-actually found out! In a way that doesn't mean anything!

Right, we're on our way Sir.

Yes. But in my defence, they are in fact real. Ghosts are real. Wizards are real. Vampires are real. Mermaids are real. Zombies are real.

That's what makes life fun. And scary.

Definitely not. If something is supposed to kill me, then it will.

If it doesn't, then there's no sense in worrying about it. I don't fear death, I expect it.

I think that whether they want to believe it or not, at some point in your life there had to be a moment where you really truly believed in something otherworldly. Superstitions were born out of primitive or limited knowledge about the world and have been entrenched in cultures around the world and in their cultural practices since the very beginning. Like for example, during the Victorian Era, people were so afraid that their dead relatives would return as vampires...so they had a literal cage placed on top of graves. Also, this fear came out of the misunderstanding of the process of decomposition.

Only when it comes to things related to the supernatural like, idk, Oujia boards and other summoning rituals?
I love black cats, I constantly step on cracks. The only thing I'm skeptical of doing is going under ladders.

Yeah I think you should stop reading those creepy pasts I used to get nightmares by doing that.. Ok so I used to be a little superstitious like on a stairway I would sometimes skip a step when walking upstairs before class so I would get a good grade on my tests

You'd be surprised. It's somewhat difficult for me to get mad online, and, when I do, how I write masks quite a bit. Offline, however... I'm someone who was fairly notorious at my former middle and high school for looking foreboding, a "death glare," and for cowing/holding my own against jackasses in "standoffs." According to my younger sister, when she briefly attended the high school, many people were under the impression that I was down-right bullying men.

I always thought it was bad luck to be superstitious..

*budumtsch*

But not really. There are some that I think /possibly/ have some truth to them. Or my nerves get the better of me. XD

nah, superstition is by definition something you cannot prove nor verify, i dont trust enough in human wetware to take anything it does seriously in and of itself.

I can't stop believing in karma. I get paranoid when things are going a bit too smooth.

No.

I can be paranoid at times, but not superstitious. Like, I'd often be worried I'll be late somwhere (even though I'm usually 15-20 minutes early), so I'll check my watch every few seconds.
